Thenextmorning, Austin and I were on the road again. I absolute loved Portland but I was so excited to see where we were gonna go next.
"Alright, let's get it poppin'," Austin said as we turned onto the interstate following Siri's voice coming through the speakers.
"You're such a weirdo," I chuckled. He turned to me and smiled.
"So I've been told," he said, merging into the left lane. He handed me his phone that was navigating, "Play us some music."
I took the phone from his hand and scrolled through his music, finding a song to play. I stopped when I seen Santeria by Sublime. I put Austin's phone in the cup holder and he turned to look at me.
"I don't practice Santeria, I ain't got no crystal ball," I sang as I looked over at Austin. "I had a million dollars but I'd, I'd spend it all."
"If I could find that Heina and that Sancho that she's found," Austin sang along. "I'd pop a cap in Sancho and I'd slap her down."
"Austin," I stopped singing. He reached forward and turned the music down.
"Yeah?" He asked.
"I love you," I said to him. He smiled and placed his right hand on my thigh, rubbing his thumb across it. I placed my hand on top of his and squeezed it.
"I love you, too."

Entering Seattle.
The sign flashed by as we drove down the interstate.
"Oh my God!" I jumped up from the slumped position I was in in the passenger seat.
"What?!" Austin panicked.
"We're in Seattle!" I looked at him.
"Fuck, Liv. I thought something happened," Austin let out a breath of relief. "Yes, we are here."
