Mercedes

I saw August smile drop as he was talking to his aunt. She said something else before walking off so I walked up to him.

"Everything ok?" I asked, he sighed looking down.

"Yeah it's fine"

"Then why aren't you smiling anymore?"

"I told you I'm fine Mercedes." He snapped then walked off , going to get something to drink.

He was finally smiling but I could tell he was still bothered with something. At this point, everyone was leaving , saying their goodbyes.

"Bye sissy, can I come spend a night one day?" Lexus asked. As she hugged me.

"Of course Lee Lee , but be good." I told her . She smiled as she walked out with grandma and closed the door behind her. I looked around back at the house and the mess, but it wasn't as bad as it could've been.

I went to let bubbles out to use it since I had him in the house the whole party. Once he was done , I let him back in to eat as I started cleaning up; picking up cups and plates, putting away left over food and placing August presents in a neat stack.

I was done within an hour and decided to take a shower. I went upstairs to August on the phone with his back turned towards me. I didn't wanna interrupt his conversation , so I got my clothes quietly as I went into the bathroom.

After 20 minutes, I got out and dried myself then rubbed lotion over my body. I brushed my teeth then put on deodorant followed by putting on some panties. I put a oversized T shirt on and left my hair down as I went back into the room where August was laying on his back,off the phone.

"Tell me what's wrong August, please." I said as I sat beside him. He sighed.

"My mom has cancer and she's in the hospital. " he said.

" I'm so sorry August , why you didn't tell me?"

"I don't want you stressin' ova that."

"But if you stress about it then I'm automatically gonna stress about it cause it's stresses me out to see you stressed." I said, he chuckled.

"I'm fine, I'm gonna go down there and see her."

"I'm coming too."

"Ok, she'll like you." He said with a smile, I climbed on top him and laid a kiss on his lips.

"Did you enjoy your birthday?" I asked , looking down at him as my hair came beside my face.

"Yeah I did, thank ya!" He said . I nodded.

"You're welcome!" I said as I leaned down and placed another kiss on his lips but deeper, then he broke it.

"You can't teasing me and you're pregnant." He said, I pulled my shirt up to show my belly.

"I'm not even showing." I said. He smirked.

"It's still there , I don't wanna hurt it."

"Ok." I said getting off of him. I took of my shirt and panties and slid under the covers. He looked down at me.

"You teasing now?"

"Nope"

"But..I think you is." He said pulling the covers up coming beside me. He took off his shirt and pulled me closer to him, hovering over me, getting between my legs.
