August

I yawned as I got out the bed and went over to Mercedes side.

"Mercedes wake up." I said , lightly shaking her . She grunted as she got up slightly , looking at the clock.

"August it's 4 in the morning." She whined laying back down .

"It's take almost 11 hours to get there baby." I trailed off as I went into my closet getting some clothes , getting ready for a shower .

"Really? Ugh..ok!" She sighed before slowly getting up.

She was looking in her closet by time I was stepping in the shower.

She was just now getting dressed when I was brushing my teeth.

"Baby you took yo braids down?" I asked as I spitted, she nodded.

"Yeah they were starting to irritate me already." I shook my head .

"Where yo suitcases?" I asked as I walked out.

"My closet!" I went in her closet and got her suitcases, along with mines.

I went to the Rover putting them in the back and cranking up so it can't start getting warm. It's still cold down here .

"You bout ready?" I asked coming back inside, putting the dogs outside with plenty of food and water .

"Yeah." She said as she came downstairs fully dressed and with her purse.

I got the keys and threw them to her.

"You're driving." I said as I walked out.

"August." I heard her whine. I laughed .

I got in the passenger seat , hooking up my phone & playing some music.

Mercedes came out, locked the door and got into the driver seat

"Don't look at me like that, im always driving." I said after she was mean mugging me. She smiled.

"I know August but.." She started as she snatched my phone off the wire," if I'm driving I'm playing my music." She finished smirking.

"Umm." I said as I got my phone back and got on it .

"Um is right." She said with a slight chuckle .

"Bruh the sun isn't even out." She added.

"The sun aint gotta be at the beach in 10 hours." I said . She scoffed .

She put her seatbelt on before pulling out the driveway and played Mine by Beyoncé ft Drake.

"So what you look forward to doing when we get there?" She asked , I shrugged .

"Whatever you want, I just wanna be witcha ." She smiled.

"You're so sweet."

"I know."

"And you ruined the moment." She said . I scoffed with a chuckle.

"I'm gonna miss Drew."

"Me too." She whined with a pout.

"I might have to come home early just to see him." She added.

"As long as you ain't talking bout coming home tomorrow , I don't mind." I said . She shook her head.
