"Hello?", I answered yawning .

"Hey August I gotta go to work in an hour so .." Nicole said, I laid back .

"Ayte I'll come get him."

"Ok bye."

"Bye."

I hung up, sitting my phone back on the bed stand , yawning once more . I grunted as I slowly got out the bed, making sure not to wake Mercedes . I went to the closet and got some clothes, heading to the shower.

After I was dressed , I went back into the room and Mercedes was still knocked out. I slightly chuckled at her as I wen downstairs, getting my keys. I went out to my Rover as it crunk up and the radio started playing Wiz Khalifa ft Juicy J-Kk . I turned the heat on and pulled out the driveway.

I pulled in his driveway, I decided to stop somewhere right quick. I got out the truck as I went up to the door, ringing the doorbell. I took a deep breathe, able to see my breathe as I waited . Finally I heard locks unlocking and the door swinging open.

"Oh..sup." he said leaning on the door post .

"Wazzup Isaiah aye I'm not here to start nothing..actually her' ta apologize." I said, he nodded.

"Ok what for?"

"Just...being ther' fa Mercedes. Even when I fucked up, you still was ther' fa ha and didn't hurt ha like some would've did." He nodded.

"It was no problem..I got 3 younger sisters, I kinda know how girls do when they're down from a break up." He said , I nodded.

"Mane...yeah you're a really good friend to her."

"And you're a good boyfriend to ha. I can tell by her just texting you , she loves ya man. Yeah she love me but it's different, that's why I wasn't surprised she picked you, that's the main reason I didn't want her to lead me on." He explained.

"Wow..ya kno I wouldn't mind if we could start ova. Try to be friends not even just for us but Mercedes." I said , he nodded with a slight smile.

"Sure..maybe sure drinks or game one day." He said , I nodded.

"Yeah."

"Well I'm tryna watch this Disney replay, they playin that's so raven so I gotta roll out." He said, I laughed.

"Umm ok ayte mane ." I said he laughed and threw up the peace sign before closing the door. I was bout to walk away befo it opened again.

"Ohh and August , that thank you was cool..real man type shit there." He said , I nodded.

"I'm tryin." I said as I walked back to the truck backwards. He saluted and closed the door back. I turned around and got into the car and turned the heat on blast.

"Damn it's colder than a witch's tit outchea' " I burred as I pulled out his driveway.

"Boy you was close to making me late." Nicole spat as she gave me Drew bag, I already had him in his carseat , in the truck.

"Sorry . Should've thought bout that befo ya begged me fa him." I said as I took the bag, she scoffed as she pulled me into a hug .

"What ever boy , I'll see ya lata'." She said locking her door.

"Ayte Nikki be good."

"You too." She said as I got in the truck and put the bag in the back, I crunk up as the heat blast and the radio blasted Nicki Minaji - Anaconda .
