"Ok!" I said, a little confused on what he was doing. He came in front of me with a slight smile , with a bit of nervousness.

He got down on one knee as he got a black box from behind his back making me cover my mouth with my hands.

"August don't play with me.." I said as he opened it up.

"I was gonna do it all romantic and shit but ya popped up on a nigga betta do it now befo' someone try to take you from me.." He started making me chuckle a little. " but fo'real Mercedes man where do I start...we've been through so much. Breakups, arguments, locked up, death of family members..but we still hung in there and over anything, you still was ther'."

"Even when I wasn't been right on my part, you always made the right decision even when you left me. Through all the tears, pain and can't forget happiness , you're still here and I can't cherish anything more than that. I can't go a day without thinking bout you, I need to touch you, I need to feel your soft skin, kiss your lips and just see your face or hear your angelic voice. If I don't, I feel like someone strip the air from my lungs, leaving me there to die. These past 2 months really proved how much love I felt for you, how much I appreciate what you do everyday not even for me but Drew too. "

"I never thought i would be the type to say i love you or i miss you and honestly i never thought i get married but..with you , its a different thinking, its not the same thing i thought a few years ago bout that stuff. I'm honestly happy you had my baby cause honestly..you prob wouldn't even be with me if ya didnt. I'm glad your heart is so big that you gave a nigga like me another chance..but out of all this stuff I'm rambling about just know.. I need you and I want you and I love you..and above all I wanna spend the rest of my life with you." He finished. I was in full stream of tears I couldn't even think straight .

I nodded as I continued to wipe my face.

"Yes August YESS!!" I said fulling breaking down into tears, he got up as he hugged me making me cry harder.

He kissed the top of my head as he pulled away from the hug, looking down as he slid the ring on my ring finger .

I sniffled as I smiled looking at it.

"I love you so much!!" I said as I grabbed his face, standing on my tippy toes giving him a kiss. He wrapped his arms around my waist as he kissed back, breaking it with a peck.

"I love you too, believe that!" He said making me smile, he's gonna make me cry again.

Then we heard sniffles and turned towards Dre.

"Yo dude you crying?" August asked with a slight chuckle. Dre shook his head.

"Nah man...this little fucker poked me in the eye!" He said wiping his eyes making us both laugh.
