Two

Courtney's POV:

I sat there for a moment before I felt someone tap on my shoulder. I looked up to see none other than the hot guy who was looking at me before. I tried to remain calm, but secretly dying inside, as I spoke up. "Can I help you?" I said, trying to sound serious as I turned to look at him. "I've just never seen you around here so I wanted to figure out who this new beautiful girl in front of me is." He said, shocking me at how smooth he was. I blushed slightly as he sat down across from me before turning and signaling for his friends to stop staring at us.

I grew nervous as he looked at me and awaited my response. "I-, my name is Courtney..and my friend actually dragged me out here for some reason, I don't drink." I said, he laughed at my reply and smiled slightly at me. "You're kinda shy aren't you?" He said teasingly. I looked down at my hands on the table and started playing with my fingers. "Yeah, I kind of never get to go out anywhere, my dad's really strict." I said, he nodded understandingly as I decided to ask a question.

"So what about you?" I said, wanting to know about this mysterious boy. He cleared his throat before speaking. "My name is Sicheng but people call me WinWin." I nodded before speaking again. "WinWin? That's cute." I said, not realizing I had just said it out loud. I put my hands on my mouth to shut myself up. I had a habit of accidentally speaking my thoughts and I hated it. "Thank you." He laughed and smiled his beautiful smile at me. "So how old are you Courtney?" He asked, making my eyes meet his. "Uh, I'm 19, don't tell anybody please, I know I'm not old enough to be here but my best friend had some stupid fake id's and-" I panicked, telling the truth before he cut me off.

"It's okay, I'm not going to tell, in fact, I'm actually 19 too." He said before putting his finger to his lips for me to be quiet about it as he laughed it off. His next question made my face bright red, I could feel it. "So..do you have a boyfriend or someone special in your life?" He said randomly, making me so nervous. "Uhmm...no, why?" I questioned as I looked into his gorgeous eyes. He started to answer but Samantha showed up with the brown haired boy from before and was shocked to see me talking to this insanely handsome guy in front of me.

"Umm Courtney? How did you meet this guy?" She said as she continued to look at him shocked as if she knew him or something. "He just walked over here a bit ago and we have been talking." I didn't see what the big deal was but she looked panicked. "What's wrong with that? He's nice." I said, making WinWin smile to himself. I looked at her annoyed, wondering why she was always so overprotective like this. "I actually know this guy. We've known each other for a long time actually." She said, making me shocked as to how she's never once brought up this amazing, hot guy to me. "So you wouldn't mind if I take her out for a while do you?" He said, making me blush at his confidence.

She looked like she badly wanted to scream yes I would mind but I pouted and she eventually gave in and said she said no, that would be okay. She walked away with turning and speaking one last time. "Keep her safe okay! She's precious cargo." She said, he nodded and turned to talk to me again. "So Courtney, I'd like to get to know you a lot better, what do you say we get out of here and go riding around or something. I promise I'll protect you." He said, showing off his really sweet side. I blushed before nodding, he took my hand lightly and lead me out of the booth and towards the doors. I watched as his friends gave us confused looks as we left the building.

I smiled and looked down at my feet as he dragged me along, still holding my hand until we reached a motorcycle. "Wow, this is really nice." I complimented. He smiled before bidding a thank you, getting on the motorcycle. "My boss actually gave it to me." He smiled as he signaled for me to hop on behind him. I know it was crazy for me to go off on a late night adventure alone with a man I just met but something inside me was screaming for me to trust him. He seemed genuinely sweet despite his tough side and his gang look. He was mysterious and I wanted to get to know everything about him. Something just drew me to him and I had no idea what it was but I wanted to explore it further.

"I only have one helmet so here, you take it." He said, handing it to me as he started up the bike, waiting for me to put it on and I did. "Hang on really tight okay." He said, making sure I put my arms around his waist as there was nothing else for me to hold on to. It wasn't long before he took off as my grip on him tightened, never having actually ridden on a motorcycle before and it terrified me but deep down, I felt a sting of excitement, a feeling of adventure something I had never felt before since I was always stuck at home.

Tonight was going to be my night to change how I lived. Even if it was dangerous, though I wasn't as timid as I seemed when it came to fighting, I was trained by my dad as a child so I could fight back. But something about WinWin just told me I wouldn't have to...
