Courtney's POV:
I was walking along the sidewalks with Sicheng, hand in hand. It had been several months now since the whole incident so he was doing well now. He had since left the mafia and so had the others who were now all living normal lives and happened to live in the same neighborhood so we all got to hang out all the time. Soon enough we found ourselves on a familiar street. It was where we had hung out on that day we met after we had run away from those gunshots, the place where we shared our first kiss against the tree. We walked over to it and I smiled as I thought of the moment.
"That was the most wonderful moment of my life." I heard him say from behind me. "Mine too." I said, still imagining the way it felt to kiss him for the first time. Suddenly, he became quiet, making me confused. I turned around to see him on one knee, making me gasp. "Courtney, I thought you were the most beautiful woman I have ever seen from that day we met. I originally just wanted to get you away from that creep in the bar but also used that as an excuse to talk to you. I know, a man in the mafia is suppose to be fearless yet I was afraid of talking to a pretty girl. But now I want to say this, since this is the place we first kissed. Will you make me the happiest man in the world and marry me?" He said, making a tear fall from my eye.
"Yes Sicheng! I will marry you." I said happily and he put the ring on my finger while smiling back at me. He stood up and kissed me deeply before hugging me. I kissed him over and over as he picked me up and spun me around.
~Months later~
Sicheng and I finally got married today and had the most beautiful wedding. I couldn't believe I was now Mrs. Dong Sicheng. I kissed him over and over and we had an amazing wedding night together.
~A few weeks later~
I learned that I was now pregnant and Sicheng couldn't wait to be a dad.
~Nine months later~
I gave birth to a boy and a girl and Sicheng and I began our wonderful life with our beautiful babies like we had imagined. For once the girl and the boy in the mafia who had fallen in love had a happily ever after.
