Courtney's POV:

I waved him over and sat next to him as his expression remained the same. "What's wrong?" I whispered as everyome went off into their own conversations and Taeyong continued to stare me down as if I threatened his entire existence. "It's nothing." He said, making me slightly angry. I knew it wasn't just nothing, why else would his whole demeanor change. "Whatever, just don't tell me then." I said, standing up from the couch and walking to another room, slamming the door behind me. I could hear everyone asking WinWin what was wrong as he chased after me.

"Courtney, come out please." I heard his voice through the crack in the door. I began to tear up as I got lost in thought. Why would nobody ever tell me the truth about anything? "Please I'll tell you everything." He said. Those words made me stand up and my hand was already turning the knob before I even had time to think, it all happened out of instinct. "I'm not coming out of here." I said as I cracked the door open a bit to see him looking back at me sadly. "Then can I come in?" He asked.

I thought about it for a moment before I finally just let him in, only opening the door slightly, enough for him to squeeze through so the other's wouldn't have to see my red face, covered in tears. "Thank you." He said as I turned to face him. He grabbed my hand and lead me to the small bed in the room before speaking again. "Please don't cry. I'm so sorry that I made you cry." He said, wiping my tears and surprising me from how much sympathy he seemed to show, not normal for a member of the mafia.

From what I've heard they're suppose to be ruthless, but this boy seemed to have a soft spot towards me. "You know you can tell me anything, you don't have to hide stuff. What was Taeyong saying to you that upset you so much?" I frowned. He stopped moving completely for a moment and pondered on if he should tell me. Eventually he began to speak, surprising me with the words that came out of his mouth. "Courtney...he says we shouldn't be together..because of the risk." He frowned and scratched the back of his neck while he waited for me to process what he had just told me.

"Are you serious? What did you say back?" I said, making him look into my eyes. "I said you were worth it to me. But he insists and he is kind of my leader so I'm suppose to do what he says...I don't want to put you in danger too-" he said before I cut him off, placing my hand on his arm. "You're worth everything to me. You're more caring than any guy I've ever met and I'd be damned if I let him or my dad come in the way of my feelings for you. No matter how far away they would take us apart, I will still like you WinWin...only you." I said, getting closer to him as I let a tear slip.

"Courtney..." he sighed as he pouted. I lifted my hand up and placed it under his chin so he would look at me once again. I slowly leaned forward and left a gentle kiss on his soft lips. "I'll fight for you WinWin." I said. His eyes widened as I stood up from the bed and made my way towards the door angrily.

"Taeyong!" I yelled as I stormed into the room where the group of boys were still in a conversation about who knows what. They all looked in my direction, looking a bit scared surprisingly. "Yes?" He said confused as to why I was furious with him but to be it seemed pretty damn obvious. "How dare you try to separate me and WinWin? Why should be love life have anything to do with my father's occupation?" I said angrily, staring the boy down as WinWin stood awkwardly behind me, watching this all go down.

"You're the one who fell for a member of your own dad's mafia, you could get us all killed just by being here." He said rudely. I balled up my fist and glared at him as the other's continued to watch. "Taeyong, don't talk to her like that. I fell for her too, this is just as much on me as it is on her." WinWin said, surprising me as he stood next to me. "This is all too dangerous. And for what, for you to fuck her and move on? Someone could die WinWin." Taeyong said, glaring back.

Those words hit me hard as I looked to WinWin, was that really all he wanted out of this? To have sex with me. "Damn it Taeyong, how many times do I have to tell to I'm not with her to fuck her, I really like her and you need to respect that." He said, grabbing my hand. I continued to look at him lovingly as he spoke, back talking his own leader for me. "Well your little girlfriend better not say a word or we'll have a problem here, you and I will have to have a ralk WinWin." Taeyong said, pacing back and forth.

I could feel WinWin's arm tense as he grew angrier at the older boy, glaring at him. I let go of his hand and decided to take charge myself. I walked up to Taeyong and looked him in the eyes, surprising him at my bravery. I mean I was the daughter of their boss afterall, what did he expect. They had bo idea what I was really capable of which gave me the element of surprise in my next moves. "You lay one fucking finger on him and I'll kill you." surprising myself at how angry I had gotten.

"And how will you do that, you're just a girl, you'll never be one of us." He said, really getting under my skin as he stared me down. Before I knew it, I grabbed his arm and slung him completely over my shoulder and onto the ground, earning gasps from the other's while WinWin ran over to me. "Shit, maybe I was wrong about you." Taeyong groaned as he stood up, dusting himself off and popping his neck.

"You're damn right you were. And for another thing, I don't speak a word about anything to my dad...so for the real reason I'm here..I want to join you guys." I said, seeing all the shocked faces in the room. I was serious with every word I said and I was determined to be one of them no matter what it would take.
