Five

Courtney's POV:

I held onto his waist tightly as I laid my head on his back once again while we made our journey back to the bar even though I really didn't want to go back. I wished I could stay with this boy forever. But who even knows, this whole thing could just be a one time thing and maybe he will never text me again. Maybe I was the only one who felt all of those sparks when we kissed.

So many thoughts were running through my head as we continued to go down the street. I let a tear slip out of eye as I thought of the possibility of never seeing this boy again. I continued to cry to myself until I heard his voice. "Are you okay back there?!" He yelled to where I could hear him as we raced down the street. "Y-yeah" I lied to make him not worry. Before I knew it, we were back at the bar and he pulled over to the side of the street and parked before climbing off. I took my helmet and climbed off, placing it back down on the motorcycle. I attempted to fix my hair but quickly gave up.

"Wait why are you crying?" I heard Sicheng ask as I tried to avoid his gaze. He lightly put his hand on my face and made me look into his eyes which were filled with worry. "I'm so afraid that I won't get to see you again. Like what if you find someone else-" I started to say before he cut me off with a kiss as he backed me up to the side of the building. His full lips pressed against mine softly made my heart flutter. He pulled away slowly but stayed close as he spoke. "There is no one else. And I am not the kind of guy to kiss a girl and never talk to her again, especially a girl like you." He said, making me blush so hard.

Suddenly the sound of someone awkwardly clearing their throat echoed throughout the street, making us look over, staying just as close however as we looked to see who it was. To my surprise it was Samantha, meaning she had just seen the whole thing. She tapped her foot on the ground as she brought her hands up to her hips while eyeing us. "Well well well, looks like you two have gotten awful close." She said, making us back away from each other a little bit.

"Uh..I-" Sicheng stuttered as Samantha shook her head in disappointment. She walked over and whispered something in his ear, making him lower his head. "Goodbye Courtney, I had an amazing time with you tonight." He said as he rushed away, letting go of my hand as I frowned at the loss of contact. I bit my lip as he ran away before I realized Samantha was still there. "Bitch, what was all of that about?" She said as she smacked me in the arm, snapping me out of my thoughts of him.

"I just had a good time with a cute boy, what's wrong with tha-" I said before she cut me off, yelling. "And you kissed him?! A boy you just met!!!" I put my hand to my ear to signal that she was being too loud and needed to calm down. "Sorry, but girl, you are insane, you barely go out anywhere and the one time I do, you already making out with some guy." She said as she shook her head while acting like a mom. I rolled my eyes and walked off from her. "Come on, let's just go." I said as she followed me. "You know he's dangerous right?" She said, making me stop in my tracks.

"Can I not just be happy for once without you ruining it with your overprotective attitude?! I finally find a cute guy who is interested in me and you want me to what, just pretend like I never met him?? Pretend like tonight never happened?? Well fuck that and fuck you too." I said angrily before I charged across the street and walked quickly down the sidewalk away from her. I was fuming with anger due to no one letting me ever be fucking happy for once. I finally found something amazing and of course I couldn't have this one good thing.

"Damn it Courtney..." I heard her say from behind me as she followed me down the street but I continued to ignore her. "Courtney stop walking away!" She yelled but I didn't care, I only walked faster as she tried to catch up to me. I had no intention to stop and listen to her anymore until I heard her next words.

"He's a part of the mafia and so am I."
