Seven

WinWin's POV:

The moment I got Courtney's text, I jumped out of my seat and grabbed my keys. I really wanted to know what she wanted to talk to me about. "Going to go after your little crush." Jaehyun joked as he winked. "Hyung barely knows her." Mark said randomly, hoping I wouldn't go out and get into danger. "Actually she's my girlfriend's friend, she's okay." Lucas said as he took a sip of his drink.

"Thanks Lucas." I said, he nodded as I took off and left the bar, not wanting to leave her out alone like this for too long. I followed my map on my phone to the address she sent me and it was pretty much a straight stretch all the way there. I looked at my phone, only glancing up every once in a while to make sure I wasn't about to run into anything.

As I got closer to where the map lead me, I heard a girl scream several feet ahead of me. I threw my phone in my pocket and looked up frantically to see where the scream was coming from, only to see the very girl I was looking for being attacked by a hooded man. "Courtney!" I yelled and took off running to save her.

Courtney's POV:

I fought against my attacker while WinWin ran towards me. As he got closer, the attacker glanced at him and tried to pull me away so I elbowed him, making him drop me. I jumped up quickly and took off towards WinWin as the attack tried to grab me once again but I managed to make it to WinWin first. I ran into his arms as he suddenly pulled a gun out of his pocket, pointing it at the attacker while he held my tight with his other arm.

"Get the fuck away from her!" He yelled, continuing to point the gun at him. The two of them stared each other down while the random man stayed silent. "Run Courtney." WinWin whispered in my ear and kissed me on the cheek. "What? I'm not leaving you." I said, looking at him as if he were crazy. "Courtney, go. I can handle this." He whispered.

"But, WinWin-" I pouted. "Go, hide, I'll come find you, I promise, don't come out of hiding for anything okay." He said as he let go of me. I looked at him one last time before taking off running towards the park while he continued his stare down with my attacker. I ran all the way to the little playground I use to go as a kid. It was all the way in the middle of the park so I ran for a few minutes to get there and I hid myself on one of the slides, holding my knees as I panicked, hoping WinWin was okay.

I breathed slowly as I hid my face in my knees, only hearing the sounds of the crickets around me until something finally broke that silence, but it wasn't what I wanted to hear, a gunshot. I jumped as I panicked, wondering what happened. What if WinWin was shot? I panicked and began to cry into my knees for several minutes, only the sounds of crickets around me as I attempted to stay as quiet as I could manage.

I put my hand to my mouth to avoid crying too loud but failed as I panicked, thinking the worst had happened and the worst would be that WinWin must have been the one to get shot. I gave up and cried into my knees thinking he wasn't coming to find me cause he probably couldn't. "Why WinWin? Why did you have to do that?" I said to myself before I felt arms wrap around my shoulders, making me jump at first until I heard a deep voice in my ear. "I'm okay Courtney, I'm okay." I heard WinWin's voice, making me cry even harder as I hugged him tightly.

"I was so worried about you damn it. Don't do that again." I said as I held him tightly. "I won't, I promise. But you can't ask me to not protect you." He said as he pressed his forehead against mine. "God, why do I feel like I've known you forever." I whispered. "I feel the same way." He whispered back and smiled at me as he put his arms on my waist. I leaned my forehead away from his and pulled his face closer to mine and stopped right before his lips touched mine. "I like you a lot and I don't care what anyone says." I said, my breathe ghosting across his lips.

"I like you too." He smiled at me as I continued to hold his face close to mine. Before he could say anything else, I pulled his face closer and kissed him on the lips passionately. He made a noise from within his throat as I pushed him up against the side of the slide, kissing him deeper. He stuck his tongue in my mouth while we continued to kiss as his hands found their way onto my hips to draw me closer, rubbing them against my bare skin. After a few more minutes of kissing him passionately, I pulled away but remained close. "You know, you should take me on a date first." I laughed while he playfully pushed me away.

"I guess I'll have to won't I." He smiled, biting his lip slightly. Suddenly my heart dropped at the realization that he was in the mafia. I had completely gotten lost in him and forgotten about why I even invited him here in the first place, to talk to him. "WinWin, there was actually something I wanted to talk to you about which is why I asked you to come here." I said, avoiding his gaze. "Yeah?" He raised an eyebrow at me and put his hand on my chin, making me look in his eyes which made saying my next words even more hard.

"WinWin..I know you're in the mafia."
