Fifteen

Courtney's POV:

"You want to join us?" Taeyong said, looking at me as he raised an eyebrow wondering why in the world I would want to put myself into such a dangerous situation. "Yes, I do, and I think I am more than capable of joining you. If it means I can be with WinWin, I will do it." I said, I noticed WinWin smile to himself out of the corner of my eye as Taeyong tried to process what I had just said.

"You like him that much already huh?" He said. I nodded and grabbed WinWin's hand. "Alright I guess you can join us but you can't tell anybody and don't come crying to me when you get a bruise." Taeyong said. I smiled and nodded before WinWin took my hand, leading me to the little room we had been in before. "What is it?" I said as he let go of me and shut the door. "I don't know if I feel comfortable with you joining us, I want to be with you but I don't want to put you in danger, what we do is very dangerous work." He said.

"You're worth it to me and trust me, I can protect myself." I reassured him. He still seemed iffy about the whole thing. "Alright fine but you have to let me take you on a date tonight okay?" He said. I smiled and blushed. "Deal." I leaned forward to kiss him but as I got closer to his lips, he stopped me. "You'll have to wait till tonight for a kiss." He smiled teasingly at me as he nudged my arm. He got up and walked to the door before I could say anything else making me pout.

"WinWinnnnn" I said as I pouted at him. "Come on, we gotta get you home. Your dad will get suspicious and come looking for you if you don't go home." He said, making me realize that that was completely true, I just hoped Samantha wouldn't be there when I got home. "I'll pick you up at 7 for our date okay." He said, taking my hand and smiling at me. I blushed and nodded as he lead me out of the room.

The moment he did, the room grew silent and I looked up to see none other than Samantha in the room, next to her boyfriend Lucas. I sighed and held onto WinWin's hand as she looked at me. "I was so worried about where you went so I figured you might have went here to be with WinWin." She said, sighing in relief and acting like we hadn't just had an argument earlier. "Also Taeyong already told me about..." she started to say but I already knew exactly what she was going to say to me so I cut her off, annoyed.

"Yes I am going to join you guys and I am capable of protecting myself, I don't need you to do that for me." I said, earning some oooo's from the other boys as they watched the drama go down and WinWin remained silent beside me. "It isn't just because of him is it, cause this job is dangerous." She said. "No it isn't just because of him, I can have other reasons." I said, no longer wanting to talk about it as she gave up.

"Well, I'm taking her back home now so we gotta go." WinWin said, pushing me out the door. "Thank you." I said under my breath as we made our way back to my house. He nodded and let go of my hand as we made our way through the streets and soon enough, we made it to the point where he couldn't go with me. "Remember, 7 tonight, meet me here, I'll see you then." He said, trying to act cool as I nodded, starting to turn away. "Goodbye Winwin." I said, smiling at him.

The moment he turned and started to walk away, I noticed the goofy grin on his face that rarely showed, making me smile and make my way to my house. Finally I made it and decided to take a nap, thankfully my dad wasn't home so I wouldn't have to explain where I was but he did say he would be gone the whole day so I wouldn't have to explain later either. I smiled and made my way up to my room, throwing myself on the bed and drifting off to sleep, anticipating the date and completely forgetting about the whole agreement I had made.

I woke up and began to get ready, curling my hair and putting my glasses back after I re did my makeup and I decided to wear a short black dress with some heels, not knowing where we were going so hopefully it wasn't suppose to be a casual date. Figured I would risk it cause it's always better to dress up than to be dressed down when not needed to. Plus this was my first date ever, I had to be fancy. I threw on a purse and made my way down the stairs, leaving the house quickly and making my way to the spot WinWin had dropped me off at earlier.

I took a deep breath and found myself getting nervous, not sure why because I had already kissed him several times and a date should be nothing right? I kept trying to get my mind off of things while also being cautious of my surroundings, wanting to make sure no one was watching or following me. Soon enough I saw someone standing under the light post in a suit and tie. I quickly realized it was WinWin and my breath was immediatly taken away.

As I got closer, my heels clicking against the sidewalk made him look up. The moment his eyes met mine, his jaw dropped. "You look beautiful." He said eyeing me up and down while reaching out to take my hand. "You don't look too bad yourself." I said, making him smile. "I figured I should be fancy for our first date." He said. I nodded and wondered where he was even taking me as we made our way down the sidewalk. "So I really want to take you to get some food then the guys are kind of throwing a party tonight at our house so I figured maybe you'd want to be my date? And you could get to know them better too...unless you don't want to-" he said, getting nervous.

"I'd love to." I said, we kept walking but for some reason I felt like someone was watching us the whole time but maybe it was just me being on the edge and being nervous over the date.
