The door to the plane opened and the clicking sounds of people unfastening their belts filled the plane. Raelyn stood up with a sigh, and adjusted the jacket she was wearing, that was now slightly rumpled.

Taking her small bag and placing its strap on her shoulder, she walked out of the plane and stepped down on the ground. As the air washed over her, she felt a wave of nostalgia hit her and she had to take a deep breath to stay calm.

She never thought she would come back here. She thought she had left it for good but apparently not. She got out her phone from her jean pocket and turned off the flight mode button.

"I should call Damon.." She murmured to herself and almost as though he was there with her, her phone rang and when she looked at the screen, it was him.

She pressed the green button and put the phone to her ear. "Hi Damon"

"Hey Rae, you there yet?" He asked

"Yeah, just got off the plane. I'm going to take a taxi to the hospital" she said looking around.

"Alright. Be safe" he said and she nodded with a small smile

"I will be" she said

"Okay bye, I'll call you later" he said and just about to hang up

"How's Sky?" She said hurriedly. She didn't want to end the call just yet. She didn't want to get into the taxi just yet, she didn't want to go to hospital. Something in her was holding her back and it was strong.

"Sky? He's good. Watching TV, I'll take him home later at night" he said and she nodded slowly

"Ok.."

"Yeah" he said quietly "Are you okay Rae?" He asked

"Y..yeah, yeah I am" she said quickly

"Rae?" He pressed

"Okay I'm a little scared.."

"I know but you don't have to be. Its going to be fine okay?" He said reassuringly

"Thank you Damon" she said

"Its okay. Come on, hurry to the hospital, you don't want to keep them waiting" he said with a teasing tone, trying to cheer her up a bit

"Right. Bye" she said

"Bye" he said and hung up. She brought the phone away from her ear and looked down at the screen.

"Its going to be okay" she said to herself before walking away from the plane and into the baggage claim area. She passed people who were either getting their boxes or waiting to get their boxes, and walked out of the building.

She looked to her left and then to her right, her eyes catching a man in red shorts and a black tee shirt that had the words Born to conquer written on it, standing beside a car. She walked towards him with a small smile on her face

"Sorry, are you a cab driver?" She asked and he nodded with a small smile

"Where are you going?" The man asked

"Ohio..." She started and paused. She let out a breath before starting again.

"The state hospital"

"Thank you" she said getting down from the cab. The cab man gave a small smile before driving off.

She let out a breath and turned to the building. "Ahh.." She let out before taking slow steps into the hospital.

She slowly approached the desk where a man stood behind. "Hi.."

The man looked up at her "How can I help you?"

"Er...I was called yesterday from here. I was told my parents were found?" She said "Jerry MacLean and Trisha MacLean" she added quickly. Calling out the names tasted weird on her tongue and she was almost tempted to try saying it again.

"Oh, you are Miss MacLean Raelyn" the man said and she nodded

"Yes, can ...can I see them? My parents..are, are they okay?" She asked, her heart beating fast against her chest

The man said nothing and just rummaged through a drawer eventually bringing out an envelope "this is for you" he said and handed the envelope to her

"For me?" She questioned as she collected the envelope

"Yes.."

"Okay but my parents..." She started

"Check the envelope first" the man interrupted and she just looked at him before nodding slowly. "O..okay" she said walking away from the desk and towards the bench in the lobby

She sat down slowly and her fingers played with the seal of the envelope as she wondered what was in the envelope. Pushing away her hesitations, she opened the envelope and pulled out the papers in it.

TERMINATION OF CONTRACT was the first thing her eyes met when she looked at the paper and a frown graced her face. Her eyes went over the words, skipping some and reading some.

Zyaire Zimmermann...termination of contract...Raelyn MacLean no longer holds the responsibility of bearing a child...payment for whatever damages caused...agreement...secrecy still remains...

"What the..." She looked up from the paper and at the envelope, pulling out another paper from inside. It read:

Addressed to Miss MacLean
According to your 48 hours deal made, I have done what I can in my power to break you. The man at the desk will explain more.
Hope you have a lovely day Miss MacLean Raelyn

Immediately she read the letter, all her hesitations and fears came rushing back and her heart beat fast against her chest.

She rushed to the desk and the man looked up at her. "I don't understand any of this.." She started

"I'll explain" he said, interrupting her "The State police called you about your parents right?"

"Yes, yes they called yesterday"

"Exactly, but they did so on the orders of Mr Zimmermann"

"Wha.. I don't understand"

"Your parents are not here, they were not found and are not alive" the man said and her heart fell

"No no, I was called..."

"Yes you were but unfortunately your reason for coming here was made up. I'm sorry but this is all Mr Zimmermann's plan to get you here and teach you a lesson about who controls things"

She said nothing and just walked out of the hospital, clutching the envelope and contract tightly in her hands. She waved a hand and a cab stopped and she got in immediately.

"Take me to the airport"
