"Let her in" she heard from the receiver that the receptionist held to her ear

"Okay sir"

"You can go in" the receptionist said, dropping the receiver. Raelyn said nothing and just walked hurriedly to the office, pushing the door open and walking to the table.

"Ah..Miss MacLean" Zyaire said with a smirk, standing up from his chair and walking towards her

"How dare you..."

"What's wrong Miss MacLean? I just did one thing and you're acting like this? What if I do something else?" He asked stopping in front of her. She said nothing and just looked at him

"See, that's the thing with having a lot of money. It gives you the power to do anything, anything at all" he said and her fingers clenched into a fist

"I mean, I got the Ohio state police to call you and tell you about your missing parents being found. You know how? With money" he said with a smirk, buttoning the single button on his suit

"I got you to run all the way to Ohio, you know how? Cause I have the power to" he said "Tell me something, you must have used all of your money to get a ticket back and forth yeah? You must be so broke, I mean you don't even have your job anymore" he said and her teeth clenched against each other

"And the contract, what are you to do now that it has been terminated? You don't even get any money from it. But you know what? I'll help you out, I'll give you all the money you need to last you a lifetime" he said sitting partially on his desk while still being in front of her

"But you have to do something first" he said with a smug smile on his face "Admit defeat and submit to me" he said brushing imaginary dust from his suit

"Go ahead, I'm waiting" he said looking at her and in that moment, she snapped. Her fingers unclenched from the fist it was making and in one move, the back of her palm met his face.

"HOW DARE YOU? HOW DARE YOU PLAY WITH SOMEONE LIKE THIS? HOW DARE YOU?" She yelled and he just stared at her surprised, caught off guard by the slap.

"HOW CAN YOU DO THIS? YOU SICK ARROGANT BASTARD" She asked and he said nothing, just stared at her

"DO YOU HAVE ANY IDEA WHAT YOU DID? HOW CAN YOU PLAY WITH SOMEONE'S EMOTIONS LIKE THAT?" She asked fighting everything in her and willing herself not to scream in frustration and break down in tears

"You.." Zyaire started but stopped when she looked down at the envelope she held in her other hand and back up at him. She held it up and slapped the envelope against his face, letting it go to fall to the floor. His eyes looked down at the envelope that had fallen to the floor and back at her.

"What nonsense is that? Huh? What nonsense is written there?" She asked "Don't you even fuck with me okay? Cause I will fuck you up so bad, your money will not be able to do anything"

"The day after tomorrow makes it two weeks since we last saw the doctor and that's when I'm going to confirm if I'm pregnant or not. You are going to go to the hospital with me and if it turns out that I am pregnant, I am going to carry the baby, give birth to it and you are going to pay me as planned" she said not mincing her words.

She was surprised that she was able to talk without breaking into tears with how much her heart clenched and unclenched in hurt. She really just wanted to curl up somewhere and be alone

"Don't be late Mr Zimmermann" she said and without another word she turned and walked out of the office. She walked hurriedly and was almost running out of the building as tears threatened to spill down.

It was only when she was under it that she realised it was raining heavily. She just walked under it and from his office window, Zyaire watched her walk out the main gate and onto the sidewalk.

His thumb went up to flick his brow and a sigh escaped his lips.

The door opened and she met Sky's brown eyes "Coco?" He said taking in how wet she was

She walked into the house and shut the door behind her, taking off her jacket and dropping it to the floor

"Coco?" He called but she couldn't even bring herself to answer. She was afraid she would burst out in tears.

"What's wrong coco?" Sky asked tugging at her blouse and she looked at him, trying to force a smile on her face but failing.

She shook her head to say nothing and when she turned away from him, her eyes caught the picture frame that held the picture of her parents. Losing all her self control she rushed to it and took the frame, throwing it against the wall and letting it fall to broken shards of glass on the floor.

"Coco!" Sky let out in a whisper yell. She walked over to the pieces and picked up the picture that was laying in the pieces of the now broken frame, tearing it to pieces and when she could no longer tear it, she fell to the floor breaking down into tears and a loud sob escaping her throat.

Sky knelt down beside her, taking her hand in his "Coco? What's wrong? Why did you tear up the picture?"

She looked up at him, with tears running down her cheeks "They're gone Sky, forever" she said breaking into another set of tears as her sobs only got louder

He wrapped his arms around her and held her tight. "Don't cry Coco, please" he said and she held unto him

"Please don't... don't cry" he said breaking into tears himself. He wasn't entirely sure what was going on but somehow her tears triggered his

"Coco?" He called releasing her and she looked at him "its going to be okay, okay?" He said, using his thumb to wipe her tears and she just looked at him as tears came down her face even more as he cleaned them

"Its going to be fine, alright?" He said and she nodded

"Yes, its going to be fine" she said wiping his own tears and forcing a smile on her face
