After making love for the first time, Delilah and Rod had been sexing like two rabbits, non stop. It amazed them that even though they both were sexually experienced, that they still found a way to please each other's bodies like never before. He catered to her body, treating her like a delicate flower, and she drove his body insane. The feeling was something the two had never shared with another being.
"Okay, baby. I gotta go." Delilah said as she rolled out of the bed after yet another round.
"Do you really have to?" Rod followed her, and scooped her body up, placing her back onto the bed and leaving a trail of kisses down her chest and stomach. As bad as Delilah wanted to stay to feel him inside of her again, she knew she had to be headed out soon.
She giggled. "I promised my father I'd meet him for lunch today. So I need to be heading to his place."
"So what am I going to do while you're gone?" He asked with a fake sad voice.
"There's some baby lotion in your medicine cabinet." She smirked before running into the bathroom and turning the shower on.
While in the shower, Delilah couldn't help but to smile just thinking about the intimacy her and Rod shared. His presence as a whole had been her happiness for a while now, and the sex was just the icing on the cake. She admired how gentle he was to her, and how he always made sure she was comfortable when they did certain things.
Turning the water off, she hopped out of the shower and wrapped a towel around her body before going back into the bedroom where she found Rod counting some money.
"You need me to break you off a lil sum'?" He asked her.
"No, I'm sure my dad has it all covered." She answered before going into the closet and picking out something to wear.
While in the closet, Rod sneakily creeped downstairs, finding her purse sitting in a kitchen chair. He slid $300 inside of one of the zippers before jogging back upstairs.
"You look good." He smiled taking in her appearance. He always believed that females looked their best when they made little effort. He hated too much make up, and he loved the fact that Delilah knew she didn't really need it. She was perfect the way she was.
"Thank you daddy." She kissed him on the lips.
"Nah, your daddy is waiting on you." He joked.
"You're aggravating. I'll see you when I get back."
"Call me when y'all on the way back. Damn nevermind." He said forgetting she didn't have a phone.
The more she stayed out, the more he worried about her safety. He locked it into the back of his mind that he would be getting her a phone soon, just so they could stay in contact with each other at times like this.
"Where you taking me?" Delilah asked her father as she sat down on his couch.
"No where." He smiled. He had a better plan than going out in a restaurant. He was going to cook for her, then they'd watch a movie together. Nothing meant more to him than spending quality time with his daughter, and he knew at a restaurant, their time would be limited. In his head, he had years to make up for, and he didn't want to sell himself short.
Delilah wouldn't ask any further questions. In all honesty, she loved being around Nicolas already. She wished that somehow, when she was young, she could have ended up with him instead of her mother. He was a very genuine person, and she saw how his heart was filled with nothing but love for her.
"Oh dad, this looks amazing." Delilah's mouth watered as he sat down a plate of shrimp and grits before her. She had no idea that her dad could cook.
After just one forkfull, Delilah was grateful that they didn't go out to some restaurant. This was much better than most of the food she'd ever tried.
Nicolas got up, popping The Best Man in the DVD player, knowing Delilah probably had never seen the classic.
The two continued to eat, watch the movie and catch up with each other. She even got the chance to tell him about Rod. Nicolas couldn't help but want to meet the man that had his daughter smiling from ear to ear at the mention of his name, but he was happy that she had someone to make her so happy, and keep her mind off the negative things in life.
"How do you feel about meeting your family? My siblings? Your grandmother?" Nicolas asked her. Over the years he had to answer many questions about Delilah, and now that he found her, he wanted nothing more but her to meet the other people who cared for her just as much as he did. He knew his family would love her.
"I... I don't know." Delilah said growing nervous. Family was something she never had growing up, and just the thought made her want to crawl under a rock and hide. She didn't like being around strange people, due to all the encounters her mother had made her have.
"If you don't want to, you don't have to baby girl, I just thought I'd ask." Nicolas chuckled seeing how Delilah's mood had changed.
"I just need a little time to consider it." She smiled.
"Oh no, he did not sleep with his wife!" Delilah covered her mouth as they continued to watch the movie.
Nicolas couldn't hold in his laughter as he watched his daughter act like the people in the movie were real people.
He was loving how comfortable she was becoming with him. It took her no time to accept him, which is exactly how he wanted things to be. He wanted the same closeness they had when she was first born, and it warmed his heart knowing that they were getting there.
