"So, why's that bitch still trippin' every time she see's you then huh?" Delilah yelled in Rod's face as they continued the argument that was started on the way home from the mall. Truth is, she felt some type of way about Brenda always having something to say to Rod.

"Dee, I told you, what she does, has nothing to do with me. I haven't spoken to the girl since the day she came by the house, so why you trippin' now?" His nose flared as he became more angry.

"You tell me. Honestly, no girl would still be showing out over a nigga who she not fucking no more!" She yelled as Rod stormed up the stairs.

"There's the guest room. Holler at me when you done acting dumb." Rod pushed the door open to the guest room.

"There must be a reason you don't wanna talk about the shit, man up!" Delilah pushed his back, as he tried to walk off from her.

"Ain't nothing to talk about, I already told you the bitch probably just jealous I'm with you, shit I don't know." He rolled his eyes.

"Yeah whatever." Delilah slammed the guest bedroom door closed and locked the door, plopping on to the bed.

Her blood boiled as she thought about Brenda. All types of questions ran through her mind. Was Rod still messing around with her? Were they still fucking?

She took a pillow and covered her face, screaming into it as she thought more about the last question. She'd hate to find out that he was doing the things that he did to her, to a girl he claimed he was done with.

Truth was, Rod really wasn't still messing with Brenda. His feelings for her were dead, as the ones he had for Delilah grew everyday.

Rod tossed and turned in his bed. Even though she was mad at him, he still wished Delilah would calm down enough just so he could hold her.

What started off as a good day, ended up being turned upside down all do to his ex. He wanted to go into the guest room, and convince Delilah that she was thinking all wrong, but he didn't want to seem like he was smothering her, so he'd allow her to cool off. If she wasn't feeling any better by night time, she'd have to just get over it, because he refused to sleep without her.

It was going on 11pm and Delilah still hadn't crept into the room yet. Rod was hurt that she didn't trust him. After all, she'd been all he'd been paying attention to for all this time. The one he was sleeping with, making love to, and caring for. He didn't know what caused her to jump to conclusions.

Getting out of the bed, he decided to go over to the guest room to check on her.

"Baby." He knocked on the door. No answer. He wiggled the door handle to find that the door was locked.

Reaching above the door, he grabbed the room key, and unlocked the door, finding a sleeping Delilah.

"Baby, I promise you, there's nothing going on. I wouldn't sit here and play in your face, if I knew I wouldn't treat you right. I got the girl I want right here, living with me. I need you to trust me. I want you to know, that even though we ain't put a title on this yet, we still got something special to me. I'll always leave before I cheat, and that's real." He kissed her on the forehead.

Going into the closet, he grabbed a blanket, laying on the floor. As bad as he wanted to get in the bed with her, he didn't want to wake her, so he decided to sleep on the floor, so somehow, they could still be together.
