Zion looked up from his desk a week later and frowned up at the woman with her hands on her hips. He blinked before looking down at the object she dropped on his desk.

"I found it under my coffee table and it's obviously not mine. I just came to give it back." Ebony Stewart said, still standing over his desk.

It was Friday, 12 a.m. and he was sitting in his office when she stormed in as if the place belonged to her. He wished he could be angry at her and yell at her but for some reason, he didn't. He just stared up at her, hardly grasping the fact that she was actually in his office.

"Really? And you say I never say thank you." Bonnie shook her head, bringing Zion out of his faze.
"Thank you." He said, standing up since he didn't like having someone look down at him. Bonnie knew that and just rolled her eyes before turning around.

"Wait." Zion said before he could stop himself. He watched with satisfaction when she halted in her steps and slowly turned to look at him. He blinked another few times before clearing his throat. What was he going to say? Why did he even ask her to wait? All those questions invaded Zion's mind and he felt more and more confused by the second.

"What?" Bonnie asked, sounding as if she was trying to sound annoyed but he knew damn well, she wasn't. She was here, wasn't she? She could've just threw that bracelet away, especially since it wasn't even Zion's.

"It's not my bracelet." He decided to say. Bonnie frowned in confusion.
"It's not?" She asked, taking a step forward in order to take it back.
"I mean, I did lose it at your place. But I found it that night." Zion still didn't know why he would tell her that.
"Oh." Was all she said.

"Yeah." Zion responded, taking the bracelet in his hands and examining it again. He had already forgotten about the whole burglary conspiracy and the bracelet. He had other things on his mind and the majority of those things was standing right in front of him. And she was coming closer. Why was she coming closer?

"What are you going to do with it?" She asked once she stopped only a few centimetres away from him.
"C. K. That's Calvin Klein." She thought out loud and Zion nodded slowly. Then he closed his hand around the bracelet and turned to sit back down on his chair.

"You may leave now." He said to her after putting the bracelet in one of his drawers and opening his laptop, not glancing up at her once. For a second, it was silent. And then he heard a scoff. When her back was turned to him on her way out, he dared a glance at her.

She had gained some pounds due to becoming a mother and he could see it especially in her walk, when her hips swung left and right. Her bottom was perkier and her thighs had a way smaller gap. He realized the night the two were one again, that her chest was also bigger and her belly had kept some of the baby fat.

And he realized then and there that he has never been more attracted to Ebony Stewart as much as he was now. Now that she was strutting out of his office like a goddess. He guessed the saying 'Hate to watch her go but love to watch her leave' did make a lot of sense now.

Zion was too mesmerized by her body to look away fast enough when she turned to look at him before leaving.
"I know I was convinced that when the baby was here, there should be no contact between you and him." Zion frowned at her.

"But if you want to, we can just forget the contract. I mean, he's a baby- a human being. It was wrong of me to view him as a product when I came up with the deal. I just-"
"You want to talk about the inhumanity of your contract now? Now that you have what you want? You want to bring it all up again? How you threatened to publish my father's poor choices in life if I didn't sleep with you?" Zion stood up with rage.

"I did not force you to sleep with me and you know that. And I'm not trying to bring it all up again. I know that I could've approached everything better and I-"

"Approached it better? You could've just fucking found a man! Leave me alone and be happy with a baby from a man that you love. Who knows, maybe you could've had a family by now. A caring father for your bastard." Zion stopped there. He was angry and wanted to hurt her. But calling his own son a bastard didn't necessarily make himself feel better.

"A bastard? You're calling your own flesh and blood a bastard?!"
"My own flesh and blood? You cannot possibly mean that. He is your son. Yours solely. Isn't that what you wanted? The kid to be yours, just yours. Not having to share your luck with anybody else, especially not a man." Zion mockingly responded.

"Is that what you really think? That I didn't want to share him with anybody? That I wouldn't rather have a loving father for him? That I don't want him to grow up with both parents, just because I'm such a selfish bitch?! " Bonnie yelled.

"Oh, so now you want me to be his father, to care for him? I guess you realized that you could've done so much better and now you want the contract gone. So that you maybe don't feel guilty once he's a teenager and asks you where his father is." He growled as he took a step closer to her.

"But it's too late for that. I didn't want children or a family ever, right? That's why you chose me. I would never want anything to do with him. To watch him get born, take his first steps, his first word, his first fight, his first crush-" With every first he named, he walked closer to Bonnie.
"I don't give a shit about that, right? Because he means nothing to me and I never wanted him in the first place!" He exploded, stopping am armlength in front of her.

"And now you dare come to me, after months. Asking me to forget about the contract because you know it was wrong. It was immoral and pathetic. But you chose to do that and you chose to go through with it as if I didn't have any feelings. Because that's what you heard from me, right? Just because I have issues showing and voicing my emotions, I don't have any, right?" Zion scoffed before shaking his head.

"You're about two years late to make things right. And I shouldn't have had sex with you again. It was a mistake and I regret having sex with you now, as well as having sex with you back then with every breath I take." He growled in her face, making Bonnie gulp. She blinked twice before nodding and shaking her head a second later.

"I came here to try and make things right, you're correct. But I didn't come here to tell you to forget all of what I've done to you. I can't apologize for what I've done because you wouldn't believe me nor would you be satisfied with an apology and you know that. I don't even know how to start or what to do or say for you to- to-"
"Forgive you? Are you seriously asking me to forgive you?!" Zion interrupted.

"I don't know what has changed your decision of not needing a man in your baby's life or how you want me to fucking act now. But I won't forgive you. I won't be a part of his life and I won't ever be with you. I hate you and you can keep your spawn to yourself. Leave my office and don't ever come back!" He had lost all containment he wanted to keep. For her to have the audacity to ask for forgiveness was the last straw.

"I-" Bonnie started.
"I hate you and I'm fighting with every single cell of my body not to physically kick you out of my office. I said leave!"

And so she left.
