A/N: A nice and long epilogue for you! It's the longest chapter of the whole book and I hope you'll enjoy. Again, I want to thank everybody for reading this book and supporting me. Have fun and leave me some comments on the way.

P.s. Read on to finally hear the whole story behind Zion's scars.

13 years later...

"Hey mommy!" Scarlett ran towards her mother with open arms.
"Hey honey!" Bonnie hugged her eight-year-old.

"How was the weekend at grandma's? Did you have fun?" She asked, acting like carrying a really heavy thing when Scarlett jumped into her arms. The girl giggled and let her mother drag her away.

"Hold on, say hi to your mother." Zion ordered River, who was about to just walk past Bonnie.
"Hi." He said with a roll of his eyes before walking off to his room. Zion shook his head, before kissing his wife's cheek. He closed the front door and a second later turned to open it again.

"Malachi! Inside, now!" He yelled at his 12-year-old who had his nose in a new iPad game.
"Coming!" The boy yelled and slowly but surely found his way inside the house.

"Hey!" He yelled when Zion grabbed the device right out of his hands and turned it off.
"Not cool, dad." Malachi said, bummed he had to find another source of entertainment.
"Say hi to your mother." Zion told him.

"Hey, mom." The boy hugged Bonnie's waist and waited for his mother to hug him back.
"How are you, baby?" She asked her son, kissing his forehead. Whilst Malachi and Scarlett gave their mother a detailed description of their weekend, Zion grabbed their bags and placed them into the laundry room. He then walked into River's room and saw that he was on his bed, listening to music through his headphones.

River turned around when he saw his father approach. Zion sighed, before walking closer and getting a hold of his headphones.
"Remember what I said on the way home?" Zion asked, placing the headphones and the attached phone on the desk next to River's bed.

"Nope." The teenager answered, still lying on his bed.
"Well, then let me refresh your memory. Grandma said you didn't help her with the chores again and I told you you'll do the chores as soon as you get home and we can talk about keeping your phone." Zion said, knowing River was not going to just sigh and do. He was going to challenge him and Zion was ready.

"How about grandma realizes she has maids to do the chores?" River said.
"They're grandma's maids and not yours, you are not to tell them to clean your shoes and wash your pillow case over and over again." Zion said, losing his patience with the boy.
"But they'd be disappointed to come to work and not actually do what they're getting paid for, wouldn't they? I was just trying to help." River shrugged.

"I don't care what you were trying to do. You need to know your limits and stop being such a spoiled brat. In this family we work and not let others do the work for you. That'll get you nowhere!" Zion scowled, making River glare at his dad.
"I'll tell mom you called me a brat!" He said, standing up and running out of the room.

Zion followed River and watched her give him a look.
"But honey, you can't always go to grandma's house and let her maids serve you. We have talked about this." Bonnie said patiently, knowing River was in that phase.
"Then don't send me to grandma's. I can be on my own when you're on a business trip next time. I told you this before, I am not a child anymore." He threw his hands in the air.

"Then stop acting like one." Zion said.
"I'm not acting like a child, dad! Am I running around and playing some stupid game like Kai? Or am I still believing in Santa Claus or the toothfairy?" He shouted.
"Hey, the toothfairy and Santa Claus are real!" Scarlett shouted at her older brother.
