The next day rolled around sooner than expected and Bonnie awoke in Zion's bed without Zion. That was the second time she went to bed with him and woke up without him. She couldn't exactly say he was an ass, because she used to do that to him as well. But now that she was on the other end of the table, she realized it's annoying.

"Zion?" She asked and when she got no reply, she wrapped the bedsheet around her body and went downstairs because she heard some noises. She was not ready to see Zion carrying River on his hip and feeding him his breakfast. Now that she was downstairs, she smelled the delicious scent of pancakes and heard her stomach grumble.

"You should take a shower and join us." Zion said, turning towards her after hearing her belly as well.
"Are you sure?" Bonnie asked, knowing he was ready to be alone with River, but she was still hesitant.
"Yes, I can handle him." Zion assured her, watching the baby take another piece of pancake and stuffing his mouth with it.

"Alright." Bonnie said and for the first time in months, she had a long and well deserved shower without worrying about River crying any second. She knew Zion had close to zero experience with children, but was also sure that he was just fine with taking care of River.

Once she was finished, she quickly changed into her outift of the day and went downstairs to join her son and his father. The two had already finished eating and were now on the floor. Zion was once again trying to show River how to properly crawl.

"The plate on the counter is for you. The toppings are in the fridge if you want some. Sirup is on the table." Zion told her, standing on all fours and expecting his son to follow his movements. River seemed confused but amused by his father's behaviour and only squealed when zion crawled away from him.

Bonnie watched the scene with a smile before getting her breakfast. She thanked him for even cooking, to which Zion only swatted his hand in dismiss. She shook her head and finished her breakfast in ten minutes. Once she put the plate into the dishwasher and walked back into the living room, Zion stood up.

"I gotta go to work, I'm already late." He told her and it was only now that she realized he was wearing a suit.
"Oh." Bonnie said, disappointed he had to leave already. She really wanted to talk about last night.
"Are you going to work today?" He asked her, getting his briefcase from the couch.

"No, I've taken a few days off." Bonnie responded, making Zion nod. They went to the front door.
"Zion-" Bonnie started, but he interrupted her by kissing her lips.
"I'm gonna be home late." Was all he said, completely ignoring her obvious attempt to talk. But he knew exactly what she wanted to talk about and was not able to do that just yet.

Bonnie watched him step into his maserati and drive off without further complications. She sighed and walked back into his house. She was once again disappointed but smiled as soon as she saw her son, who has already rolled onto his back again. He spotted her and smiled back with that cute face of his.

"Well, he'll talk to me eventually." She told her son, picking him up and tickling his belly. River squealed again and got a hold of her hair. She yelped in pain when he gave it a good tug.
"Jesus Christ, you're getting stronger each day." She said, tearing his hand away from her hair.

"You're so big too. It feels like eternity since you were just a little bean in my belly." She told her son, suddenly remembering something.
"Speaking of a bean in my belly, we need to go to the pharmacy, don't we?" Bonnie said, picking up her child.

"Unless you want a little brother or a little sister." She joked as she went upstairs in order to get River dressed.

"I got your report last night. I already looked over it. Am I correct with the assumption that OTM means on the move? And where exactly is he heading?" Zion called Jack Pepperwood once he arrived at his office.

"Look who decided to pick up the phone. I called you last night, did you not see it?" Pepperwood asked.
"I didn't. Answer my question now." Zion responded, rubbing his temple.
"Well, he is currently in a motel not two hours from the city. It seems like he would stay there for a while, since he booked the room for a week." Pepperwood said.

"Good, send me the location." Zion demanded and a second later got a message with the address of the motel as well as the room number that Kent was in.
"Got it." Zion said and hung up.

"Michael." Zion said as he exited his office and saw his P.A. work at his desk.
"Yes, Sir?" The man asked, standing up.
"Cancel my appointments for the day. I won't come back today, so you best leave after your work here is done." Michael nodded at his boss' words and sat back down.

Without further ado, Zion got into his car and was on his way to Pepperwood and Kent.
