Bonnie pulled on her skirt and took a deep breath as she looked up at the hospital. She had gotten a letter from Doctor Muller, Lord Asher's house doctor, who partially works at the hospital. He wanted her to come in, since the lab results were back and they found something.

She walked inside with a tight smile, greeting the people in the waiting room as well as the receptionist, that gretted her. She gave her her name and the woman showed her the way to Muller's office. The receptionist knocked, announced Bonnie's name and soon she was inside his office. That was quick, Bonnie realized.

"Bonnie Stewart, I am glad you could come despite such short notice. Please have a seat." He stood up and pointed at a chair in front of his desk. Bonnie nodded, set her purse on one chair and sat down on the other.
"Yes, of course. If there is something in my blood doctor-"

"You are not going to die, Miss Stewart. I assure you this is something you could get rid of if you wanted to." Bonnie was confused by his words.
"If I wanted to?" She asked and Doctor Muller nodded with a smile.

"I don't want to keep you in suspense any longer. Miss Stewart, you are pregnant."

Zion smiled when he saw his mother open her door with River chewing a toy while positioned on Sheryl's hip.

"Look who it is? Daddy's here." Sheryl said and quickly kissed her son's cheek. Zion's ears were not used to the word daddy. He was not used to being called that.
"Hello honey, how was your day?" Sheryl asked, handing River over to Zion as soon as they sat down in the parlour.

"What happened in here? Did someone set a bomb?" Zion joked when he saw all the toys laying around the usually clean room. Sheryl laughed and swatted her hand in dismiss.
"He needs supervised tummy time now and of course he needs his toys." Sheryl explained, making Zion nod as he set River down on his lap.

"Is Ebony here?" He asked, looking around.
"No, she's at the doctor's." Sheryl said, making Zion frown. Probably because she fainted a few days ago.

Sheryl watched her son as he focused his attention at River. Not in a million years would she have thought to see a sight like that. To even have a grandson was a miracle and now to have her son be the amazing and kind man that she raised made her the happiest person on earth. She could see all the pieces falling into place. Bonnie and Zion would also soon realize what was best for them, Sheryl thought.

"Two days ago, he said dada." Zion told his mother with a smirk.
"No he didn't." Sheryl's eyes widened. Zion nodded in confirmation, making his mother smile.
"Isn't that just amazing? Tell me Zion, could you imagine not having heard his first word?" She asked her son seriously, because she still didn't know if was only temporarily there for his son.

"No." Zion said, lifting River up and letting him smack his cheek. Sheryl laughed at Zion's face and stood up.
"Would you like to see his room?" She asked, watching Zion slowly stand up.

"He has a room here?" She nodded at his question and led the way upstairs.
"I figured since you don't use your room anymore, I wanted to give him that. It has something sentimental, since you are his father." She continued, showing Zion his old room. He stepped inside, eyes roaming the room.

A dark green wallpaper still grazed the walls. There were still tons of photos of Zion and his medals from his childhood hanging on the walls. But now instead of a bed, there was a crib in the middle of the room. Above that crib hung three pictures of River. A changing table replaced his school desk and the closet was also new. Although Zion didn't like changes, he approved of that one and once again had a warm feeling in his chest.
