Ashton gaped, wordless. Was this real? Did Luke really just said that he was going to break up with Nia?

« What? » Ashton asked softly. « But you said the other day that you-»

« Yeah, I know. » Luke barged in. « I changed mind. »

Ashton's heart fluttered and a goofy smile appeared on his face while Luke pulled him closer, pressing their chest together.

« What do you want to do today? » Luke asked.

It was a day off today so the boys could literally do anything that they wanted. Even stay in bed all day, Ashton liked the sound of that but it wasn't appropriate knowing that Nia also known as Luke's future-ex girlfriend was still here.

« Don't know. » Ashton grinned.

« Oh c'mon I know that look. » Luke said all excited. « What's on your mind pumpkin? »

« N-nothing. »

« Ashton. » Luke frowned tickling Ashton's side.

« Nooo stop it. » Ashton wriggled. « I-I was thinking that maybe we could stay here all day? »

Luke winced, that sounded really good, just Ashton and him cuddling and kissing the entire day, but what was he supposed to say to Nia?

« I'd really like that... but- »

« Yeah, we can keep it for another day. » Ashton smiled shyly.

The blonde nodded and before he could say something his phone started buzzing on the nightstand. He frowned but stretched his arms to grab the disrupting thing. He winced when he saw the incoming call but he answered anyway.

« Hey, baby. » He said and Ashton felt bad. « N-no, I mean yes I'm- I'm downstairs just you know... » Luke closed his eyes trying to concentrate on a good lie. « What? Fuck no I'm not lying, why are you saying that? » The blonde cleared his throat. « Okay, you know what? I don't care just let me breathe for a second yeah? I'll be back in 3 hours. » He sighed. « Yeah 3 fucking hours. » He hanged up and threw his phone on the floor, wincing at the noise of the thing hitting the floor.

Ashton didn't say anything and, when he saw the sad look on Luke's face he just pulled him closer and kissed his neck softly twice or maybe five times.

« I'm sorry. » Luke whispered. « I wish we could do something just the two of us. »

« Hm... Maybe we could go downstairs and have a breakfast? Just the two of us. » Ashton said and Luke nodded.

Breakfast went well. Ashton and Luke were sat around a small table in a corner of the hotel restaurant, they were giggling and sharing each other's food while the brown small boy was eyeing the blonde in awe every single time that he laughed because damn Luke was such a precious boy, his dimples were digging his face and his eyes were so sparkly, he was a masterpiece and Ashton couldn't help but falling in love with him over and over again.

« Lukey? » Ashton called out softly while Luke was chewing a pancake full of blueberry's jam. The blonde had some jam at the corner of his lips and he looked like a small kid, that view made Ashton's heart flutter.

Luke lifted his head, smiling while he raised an eyebrow. Ashton's heart started bouncing in his chest as he smiled back to the taller boy.

Maybe it was too soon, or maybe it wasn't, maybe he was dumb to think that Luke could feel the same, or maybe he wasn't. But he needed to tell him again.

« I love you. » Ashton said smoothly.
