A/N: You can listen to the video while reading the part with Chara and Aida. And yes, I love Baldi's Basics.

"Not so tough anymore, huh?" Frisk sneered as she came closer to Chara.

The half-breed whimpered as she tried to crawl away. She did it. She should've seen it coming. She RESET. Right now, they had gone through yet another Genocide. She made her watch as she killed all her loved ones right infront of her. She tried to stop her at the final after Flowey, but she was ready. Right now, she was bleeding and had a broken leg. She only had enough left in her to trap her in the dark abyss. She couldn't stop anything now.

She let out a yelp as Frisk grabbed her hair and pulled her forcefully up until she was kneeling before her. She glanced up to see her. Her eyes were cold, angry, merciless. She reminded her too much of the humans from her timeline.

"Did you really think you could stop me from having my fun?" she growled after grabbing her by the collar.

"I'm sorry, Frisk...I had..." she tried to speak through her sobs.

"It doesn't matter. You belong to me. Your Determination belongs to me. I'm going to RESET now, and you better play along, or else, got it?!"

She nodded frantically, wanting this all to go away.

"Good. Time for one last death" she grinned before raising the knife up.

Chara jolted up as she awoke. Her heart beat so loud she could hear it. Her Soul popped out, radiating from fear. Her breathing was frantic as sweat poured down. She took deep breaths to calm herself before looking around.

The room was dark, alright, but it was nighttime. Across from the room was Frisk, sleeping soundly in her own bed. She let out a sigh of relief before willing her Soul back in and gingerly making her way out of the room. She headed to the bathroom and wiped off the sweat with a damp cloth before reaching up to the medicine cabinet and pulling out a bottle of sleeping pills.

It had been like this for weeks now since she came back to Toriel with Asriel. She had been having nightmares of Frisk choosing to RESET and everything coming undone. Frisk would glare at her angrily for showing the truth. Frisk choosing Genocide and killing all of the Underground. Frisk making her look like the villain and she had no choice but to play along or something worse would happen. She had forgiven her for what happened but her mind wouldn't put the fears aside. No matter what the human says, she still had the power.

Now, she was turning paler than normal and eye bags began to form from the lack of sleep. She was so tired, but she was still scared of what she would see again once she slept. She was forcing herself to stay and love Frisk out of fear of what will happen if she didn't. She was a sacrificial bride now. Stay with the enemy or risk death to all.

She took two of the pills and hid the bottle again before going for a glass of water. She then downed the capsules when she got back to bed. Slowly, the effect came and she closed her eyes to brace for another fitful slumber.

Chara sighed as she drew the scene from last night. She was currently in her and Frisk's room and was drawing her latest nightmare on her bed. Somehow making the scene come out on a piece of paper with nothing more than a pencil and erasure made her feel a little better about it. It was a way to vent.

She jolted when she heard a tap at the door.

"It's me, can I come in?"

She let out a sigh of relief. "Yeah, come on in, Aida"

The door opened as the robot came inside the room. Frisk was away at an Ambassador's Meeting. Chara was supposed to come as well but the human thought she should get some rest as she looked sick. Aida came over to watch the former Princess and the Human Souls along with Asriel. It had been a while since she came at all to the house, but it was a relief to have her back.

"How have you been?" the robot asked warily, her hands clasped together.

Chara sat up as she beckoned her over. Aida sat beside her on the bed before she was handed the sketchbook. She got a good look at the illustrations inside before the half demon revealed her Soul to her. She was utterly horrified at the red Soul as it lost its glow.

"I could really use a friend right now" the former Princess spoke without looking at her.

Aida was the only one who knew about it. The half breed had been confiding the nightmares and fits only to her. She was the only one who knew the truth without the memory explosion at Prom. Though the robot was afraid of seeing her brother, she held no resentment to her.

"How long must you hide this from the others?" she asked.

"For as long as I could, possibly forever"

"Chara, you're completely miserable like this. You can't force yourself to love"

"I guess I'll have to, one way or another"

"But it's killing you! You're already sick!"

"And she'll kill everyone!"

"I know you have to save the others, but you also have to help yourself"

"Sacrifices must be made in the name of love"

"But you barely love her now!"

"You said it yourself we were meant to be"

"But you have to talk it out!"

"Says the girl who snubbed my brother!"

Aida widened her eyes and let out a whimper at that. They had discussed her issue as well but she didn't like it when it was brought up. She began to feel selfish now that she realized she was talking to Asriel's sister for advice. How much of a hypocrite could she be? She was the Guardian of True Love, but she can't even do that.

Chara snapped out of her frustration when she noticed how it felt to say that. Sure, she was mad and frustrated, not to mention afraid, but she didn't mean to yell at her. She pat Aida on the head as the girl looked up to her.

"I'm sorry about that. I didn't mean it. I know we all have our moments, but the last thing we want to do right now is handle them alone. We're getting through this together, okay?"

The robot seemed unsure at first but nodded with a smile. Chara returned it before giving a gesture. She chuckled as she switched to her rabbit form and hopped onto the Determination girl's lap. Chara chuckled as she settled down and began to pet her like she were an actual bunny.

"I missed you when I was in the Lab" Aida murmured.

"I missed you too. Sorry I wasn't able to visit"

"I don't blame you"

"I know"

The rabbit shifted her position until she was facing the former Princess and looked her in the eye. Blue met red for that moment. "I don't blame you"

Chara understood what she meant now. Aida was the only other one who knew the truth without the need for the memory explosion. She had only a tiny bit of Determination in her, but it was enough to allow her to remember timelines. She knew everything, and her memory was never corrupted. That was why she was so frantic to find her. She wanted to help her be freed from Frisk's control, but couldn't due to her deactivation. She wasn't there back then, but she wanted to be now.

Chara smiled warmly as she held her robot friend. "Thank you, Aida"
