Aida was a bundle of joy and energy. Ever since she regained her Soul, they finally got an idea of what Alphys meant when she was 'spirited'. She was active and acted more human. She smiled brightly when she met up with her friends and didn't rely on her programming as often as she did before. She did go a little rebellious every now and then, but that was normal.
"I know she can be a handful at times, but it's nice to have my daughter back" Alphys chuckled as she pat the girl in question on the head for her latest practice.
They had to find some recreation for her so she could do something other than help in the Lab and give love advice. Mettaton came up with an idea. He had been looking for a partner onstage for quite some time now and Papyrus couldn't go because of his job. They did notice that the girl had a fondness for music and dance for some time now.
That, and because many fans already liked her, was what got her on the show. It was nice to see she was bonding with her brother and having fun as well. It became a part-time job. There were times she was allowed to bring guests along with her. And that was just what was happening now. She decided to bring the Comic Trio.
"I feel ridiculous" Asriel grumbled.
The Mettaton Show had changed since they got to the Surface. Now, wardrobe can be altered depending on what the star thinks. For this one, it's pop formal dance. Aida was used to it, but some people sure aren't.
Right now, they were all in the dressing and make-up room. Frisk wore a deep blue dress that sparkled as if it were the ocean and had a baby's breath flower tucked behind her ear. She had some lipstick on as well as eye liner.
Chara donned a forest green dress that gave the impression that the woodland itself had a queen. She had a buttercup tucked behind her ear as well. She had some lipstick on, but she already had her natural blush.
Asriel wore a dark green suit with a dark green tie and matching pants. The blouse was white, atleast. There was a buttercup in the blouse pocket.
"Come on, Azzie, it's not that bad" Chara tried to cheer him up.
"That's because you're not the one wearing it!" he then facepalmed when he realized that she was wearing what was technically the dress-counterpart of the suit. Then again, his sister didn't like wearing dresses either, atleast not so much.
"Well, just be glad that he didn't make you wear the flower costume" Frisk joked before heading over to Chara before cuddling her from behind. "Maybe later, we can check out if this dress can make you look more of a garden than before"
She squeaked and fought to suppress the buttercups. "Azzie...help me..."
Asriel giggled at the sight before taking out a white carnation corsage.
He and Frisk both were handed a corsage each for later in the performance. His was white while Frisk's was yellow. He already learned what a corsage meant but he didn't expect he would need one for an onstage, live-air dance set up by a ghost in a robot. He and Frisk were to put them on the right wrists of their respective dances; Frisk with Chara and him with Aida. The partner dance will only be temporary before she goes back to the duet with Mettaton.
"Is everyone ready?" a familiar voice called out.
"Yep" Frisk answered.
The door opened before Aida made her way inside. She exchanged her standard white dress with a pale pink one that had white in the lining. She had a pink carnation tucked behind her ear. She wore white boots than her black doll types.
