Life on the Surface had never been more beautiful. There had been so much going on for the past few months. Flowey didn't originally want to go, but Frisk was able to persuade him. At the same time, Chara, his fallen sister, had come back to life. Both came out with Frisk, and lived with Toriel. They originally wanted to go Genocide again, but they soon gave up their intentions and were able to adjust to a new life in peace.
Now, Chara had found love in Frisk and was currently dating the human. Flowey had been besties with Papyrus for quite a while now. He was happy when he came over to babysit. He and Chara had been able to revive the Six Fallen Humans as well. They too had taken residence with Toriel and they all lived together like a little orphanage.
Things had changed for the better. Chara had only half-demon abilities now since they were able to find and reunite her with her Soul and she was able to live without killing anymore. Flowey had gained a Soul fragment that was enough to let him feel emotions again. They were still trying to see if they could bring him back as Asriel, but for now he was content.
"Don't stray too far, Flowey!" Chara called to him.
He was currently trying to burrow away from the group a little. Sans had taken them all out to the park while Frisk and Toriel were shopping. The skeleton was making bad puns again with Chara. He only went until he reached an area near a tree but where they could see him. He was getting some sunlight.
Though, at some point, he felt a bit lonely. It seemed everyone around was now inlove, except for him. Frisk was with Chara. Toriel had taken an interest in Sans. Alphys and Undyne were dating. It made him feel left out.
He heard a small thump behind him. He whirled around, in case it was Alexander falling off a tree. There was nothing there but a tree trunk. He did hear something coming from behind it.
"Hello?" he called.
"Uh...hi..." a small voice came from behind.
"Who's there? Come out"
There was a bit of silence before a familiar face poked out. They steadily made their way out before looking at him as their face brightened up. He recognized them anywhere.
"Temmie?"
"Flowey! Tem found you!" she cheered as she ran forward and glomped on him. He was in a very tight embrace now.
"Yeah...I guess you did"
She giggled before letting him go. It was quite a surprise to see her again after she left with the others to the Surface, but it was a good one nonetheless. He was happy she ran into him.
"So, what were you doing here?"
"Tem was on bweak today so Tem thought Tem could go to park to pway! But Tem happy to find Flowey!"
He smiled a bit at that. He was quite happy to find her too. They then began to speak to each other, trying to catch up on each other's lives. It turned out that Temmie had already begun earning a living out here on the Surface. She had gotten better at making the Tem Flakes that they were now a special snack and cereal on every shelf. Her clothing making had also improved to the point that she was now able to make cute little outfits.
It was nice to hear how she had been all this time. Being part of the food and clothing industry paid well and she was part of both. Her kind had taken jobs as well; some were even part of making the products. It was great to have a few extra paws on board.
"Then all the Tems mad new Tem Villag! Houses awe so big, but we make them cute!" she chirped.
"And where is the new Tem Village, if you don't mind me asking?"
"Up hill, a few blocks neawby Monster Town!"
Monster Town was the neighborhood that some of the Monsters lived in, including Toriel and the rest of the kids. Again, Asgore is really bad at names. Hearing that Temmie Village was just nearby his place surprised Flowey. Why hadn't he known sooner? Then again, he never asked. Well, they didn't know about Temmie so he preferred to keep it quiet. Atleast that meant he could visit her.
"Tem miss Flowey so much! When Tem went to Surface, Tem scawed cuz Tem found no Flowey. Flowers wewe evewywhere, but none like Flowey!"
"Well, I was in the Underground for a while before I decided to finally leave. It sure is nicer up here, more air and sunlight"
"Tem bwought Tem Flakes! Wanna twy?"
"Sure, why not?"
She giggled before taking out a box from her blue shirt's pocket. It had the signature brand Tem Shop on it now as well as a good photo of the content. She shook some out to him. She took a few and put it in his mouth. He had to admit: It was a whole lot better than the first time.
"Yep! You got better at this! It's great!"
"Yay! Tank yu!"
He found it cute with her giggling like that. She was on her back again, holding her stomach with her paws as her little tail wagged. He hadn't seen anyone as innocent and cheery as her, unless it was a child or Papyrus. It was just precious with those like her.
"Flowey! Come over!" a voice rang out.
"Coming!" he sighed. "Sorry, I gotta go right now"
"Aww" she whined.
"Hey, I can't argue with the family. But don't worry, I can come over and visit, or maybe you could too. I live with Frisk and Chara in Monster Town"
"Pwomise?"
"I promise"
She nodded before enveloping him in another hug. He sighed but managed to return it with his leaf hands. She then let go before skipping off with a bright smile on her face. He beamed as he watched her go. It shouldn't be too hard to find her in the new Temmie Village and all Monsters know the Ambassador. He then burrowed down into the ground before resurfacing to Chara's side.
"Here I am! What is it?" he asked.
His sister was scared and looking down as Frisk glared at her. He was about to ask what was going on when he noticed someone else with them. It was Sans and Alphys, but they were talking to some girl in a white dress. He was at a loss of what to say as Chara put him back in his pot.
