It seems things had to go worse before they got better. There would always be ups and downs in every relationship. There would be competition and uncertainty. But that was the point of those bonds. If one tries their best to make it through it all, together, they would win against the battle ahead.

When the next Valentine's Day came around, it seemed everyone from the gang had found their partner. Of course we knew about Undyne and Alphys and Sans with Toriel. But more couples had sprouted about.

Asgore eventually found a girl who saw past him and his past acts, though it was orchestrated by Aida when she decided he had enough. It took some time before the others felt at ease around him again. For now, it was just friendships. He wished the best for Sans with Toriel, Frisk with Chara, the Human Souls, and Asriel for his future.

Mettaton had taken a liking to Papyrus after how the skeleton was there for him when he was mourning for his sister. It took some time but he managed to convince Sans that it was okay. And it didn't help that even Gaster was spying on them during their first date.

Chara was finally comfortable with Frisk again. After the RESET button was destroyed, the last of her fears had ceased. She had been able to sleep well again, even gone back to sleeping in the same bed with her lover. Her normal skin color came back, and her Soul was regained its original bright red of Determination. The scars on her arms remained, but they were kept as a symbol for all they had gone through.

Asriel had begun to officially date Aida. They didn't want either of their families knowing for now as they would spy on them or initiate a new Shipping Defense, giving the robot a taste of her own medicine, so they kept it secret. Asriel often teased Aida but only enough to make her flustered. The pink eye-blush she did was adorable.

They snuck out one night during their first date to a small patch near Mt. Ebott and sat under the stars. It was a good thing they went out late and by that time, everyone else had slept. She was wearing a pale pink dress with red trimmings along with a pink rose in her hair. He wore a deep green suit and pants. It was just a nice picnic between them, and under the light of a crescent moon. Her head was on his shoulder and he held her hand.

"I used to dread the Friday nights with a crescent moon" she sighed, looking up. "It was the loneliest time of the month for me, going back there to the vessel of my Soul, knowing she was alone. I couldn't tell mother, or Chara"

"Well, you don't have to be alone anymore and neither does Temmie" he looked at her lovingly. "I'm right here"

This brought us all to today's situation. It was the twentieth anniversary of when Monsters finally reached the Surface, this time permanently. They had been up here for two decades now. Frisk, Chara, Asriel, and Aida had all graduated college and the Human Souls took up that area. Chara and Frisk were now living together. Asriel also had his own house though Aida still stayed with Alphys but came over regularly. They came back home to celebrate the event.

Now they were at Gaster's house. He had made improvements to make it suitable for all the guests. There was punch and food for everyone and the living room had been turned into a ball thanks to Mettaton. Though the adults were already up and partying. The Human Souls each found a date, even shy Chiwin after Amariah toned down her over-protectiveness.

"It seems only yesterday she finally made her move" the ballerina choked out from her tears of joy.

Chara and Frisk were on the couch across from Asriel and Aida. The former Princess was sitting on the Ambassador's lap and wrapped her arms around her neck while the latter held onto her waist. Aida had shifted into her rabbit form and was enjoying a nice petting session by Asriel on his lap.
