Like an evil troll,
Under the bridge
Waiting eagerly for its prey.
He stood,
Near a candy shop
Ecstatic to meet,
His prey for the month. With two cotton candies,
In her tiny pink hands
She walks home eagerly,
To show her sick mother
What her new friend
Gifts her everyday.Despite her mothers' warning,
Which she was too young to grasp,
She continued
Laughing, talking
And sharing her innocence,
With the troll
At the candy shop.
Who was eagerly
Waiting to stain
Her with his venom. One ugly day,
Like a thunder stricken tree,
He stroke her heart
With his gruesome action. She was the
Pretty little bird,
Imprisoned in his rusted cage.
She was trapped.
She was scandalized.
She was destroyed. Her tears were neglected!
Her screams were muffled!
Her cry for help was Quitened!
Her pleas to set her free was ignored!
Her pathetic heart was beyond traumatized! She was thrown,
Bruised and battered,
With clothes tattered,
On a roadside ditch shattered.Who could you blame?
Could it be her innocence?
Could it be lack of guidance?
She wasn't at fault.
Because she was as fresh as a
Blossoming flower,
Who had just turned
8 years old.
On the dreadful day,
He decided to make
Her life a living Hell!~ Aqilah
