Rejection, was what she feared.
Faliure, was what she dreaded.
Acceptance, something she was sure she wouldn't get.
Which was why she always
Stayed a low-key writer. The pages kept on piling
With different poems and verses
Though it was all, just for her to read. But it all came down to her one day.
Negativity exists, but so does positivity.
She pens her unspoken thoughts!
She pens the rhythms of her heart!
So why fear the others?People will dislike her poetry!
People will not like her concepts!
People will be mean with remarks!
Instead, of shedding tears,
There is always something great in what happens to you in life,
That was, making her a better writer. She showed the world her writing
She was amazed when she saw the
Great poets out there.
She was ecstatic, when they started accepting her.
It wasn't always necessary to be a hidden writer, she decided.Today, she is proud of what she pens.
She is proud of who she is.
Yes, there are days of negativity
That drops her spirit,
Yet again, she decides,
If she wants to achieve her dreams?
Or, let others crush her willpower
And be called,
The Hidden Writer?!~ Aqilah

Sometimes, people don't write fearing rejection because not all of us are strong enough to accept mean remarks or comments. Its because of certain people and their attitude that still keeps many great writers in the dark. I wish people would accept everyone because every writer, writes from their perspective and not from others. They write what flows from their heart. I would really appreciate, if people were all open minded enough to understand this fact :)
