Chapter 13 - Benefits?

Joshua's POV.
As the day go by... it went by smooth.'I had no problems out of anyone. Alexis was found just great. But tonight I wanted to do something with her. I wanted to ask her on a date. Don't get me wrong I was extremely nervous to ask. We haven't talked much todays... she had been focused on work. Which wasn't a bad thing.
"Hey Alexis". I said. "Hey Joshua". She said. "I was wondering if you'd come to dinner with me... like as a date". I said. "I'd love too". She said. I was happy. After all the fighting , assumptions, worries , the heat , divorce problems and explanations she still will put up with me.
Alexis POV.
As I got home I didn't know what to wear. So I looked into my closet to see what I had. I didn't go anywhere much. But I used to be a party fool in college. I used to drink in all. But now that I'm older and getting my life together I haven't been drinking much. So I found this dark blue long dress it was cute I guess... so why not wear it. Then he texted my phone to let me know he was outside. We went to this famous "steak and grill". It looked very famous.. I looked at him I didn't want him to over do it for me..
"This place looked very expensive". I told him. "Well I mean you deserve it and I don't mind anyway you can have whatever you like". He said. Free food dissent hurt lol...
So as we got in he did basically everything a gentlemen was suppose to do. And me I was suspired honestly.... I guy with a lot going on in his life had time to do something like this for me. So after we eat.. we got up and left.. So we went to the beach... and we both got into the water and honestly it was amazing.. I felt alive when it comes to him.
               I lived on the other side of town.. I didn't want him to drive all the way over there. It was about 1 am when we left so you know we went back to this happen. And let's just say when we approached his house.... that'll be a night I won't forget
        So did the mess die down?
           Will Joshua finally be with Alexis?
