Chapter 5 - Chill its just Karma

As I stated no one messes with Alexis Coleman. So today I got extra petty. I decided to wear a sundress. The door lady was trash. She could let even compare. I had my curly puff up and was ready for this karma.
I got inside the building when the door lady (Maria). As I got into my office I stood up organizing papers. "Hey miss—-". He said pausing looking me up and down.
Joshua's POV.
From that moment I wanted her. I wanted her to be mine. How was I going to control myself. She was so Beautiful. "Sorry Hey Alexis". He said. As soon as I said that she was blushing. She chuckled and said "hey Joshua". No one ever gave me the feeling Alexis do. "I was wondering if you'd have lunch with me". He said nervous about my answer due to the latest incident. "I'd love too you@. She said.
Alexis POV.
Was I getting feelings for Joshua. I really don't even know. He was extremely handsome. I know I said he want my type but this man was definitely my type. I wanted Joshua. So then he came to me. He then kissed me and I kissed back. It was one of the best kisses I'd ever had.
Me and Joshua hasn't talked since the kiss and now it was lunch time. So I knocked on Joshua door. "Are we still up for lunch"? I asked. "Yep". He said. I was happy. But was I falling for him. Nope this is just karma. So we decided to walk. I mean I didn't mind it was a beautiful day outside.
"You know I don't regret it". He said looking at me. "I know it was out of character but I can't help it when it comes to you". He said. I laughed and said "it's okay Joshua cause I don't regret it either".
We both smiled at each other. You and I both know this wasn't just karma. I was falling for this man but it's so hard not too.
Joshua POV.
Looking at Alexis I am tell she's been through a lot. Although i avoid relationships at all cost. I could avoid this one. I couldn't even avoid her. She's everyone dream girl. I don't know if I'm catching feeling. But no one can have Alexis but me.
