Grant's House (up top or on the side)
Chapter 7 ~Love Is When...
I knew I was strong, and maybe like they said, 'Crazy'. But I had this feeling inside of me, that something real was there. ~Charles Bukowski

Felix's POV
I watched as Grant walked out of the trail and headed toward the small green house near the end of a cul-de-sac. There was a man pacing on the front porch seemingly in thought and I right away recognized him as Sheriff Moore, Grant's father. Grant was about five to ten feet away from his house when his father noticed him and started to yell.
I felt guilty, a part of me felt as if this was all my fault. Grant was getting yelled at because I couldn't keep my smoking habit under control and we had to spend the night in the woods.
I sighed and turned away when they went in the house. I headed back down the path in the direction of my house, "You can come out now" I drawled.
Costas' stepped out of from the undergrowth and shifted back into his human form. There he stood in front of me with all of his naked glory. "Wow, it must be my lucky day. I woke up with a cute boy wrapped in my arms, I even had the luxury of walking him home. On top of that I get to see you naked, and to add to my ego you don't sport as much as me" I smirked just to piss him off.
"Cut the shit" he growled before slipping on some clothes that had previously been in his wolf's snout.
I scrunched up my nose "At least now I know why you always smell" I teased. "You know you aren't a very good stalker I knew you were spying on us since the night" I informed.
He growled again "Why is his scent all over you" he spit out.
I swear he looks so mad the vein on his neck might just burst....
"Why else do you think" I asked cockily. "I think I mentioned previously that he was wrapped in my arms" I noted.
He stepped closer to me "Listen here Stein! I don't know what you're playing at, but leave my mate alone" he growled.
I felt a stabbed of pain hit my heart as those words left his lips, but I didn't let my pain show. "Yeah, right" I waved off, "You're not eighteen until June, and it's what February!? You're four months off genius" I laughed.
"Sometimes wolves just know, okay" he huffed. "We have a sixth sense for these kinds of things. I'm not wrong, Felix. He's my mate and I know it so you better leave him alone" he said in a threatening tone.
"Nah"
"What!?" he questioned angrily.
"I said no, I won't leave him alone" I answered while walking past him to carry on with my day "Oh and do us a favor, Costas, and don't get in my way again" I said without turning back.

The walk home felt longer than usual to me maybe it was because I was tired, or that I had a lot on my mind. Either way when I got to my front door I most definitely did not expect Violet to throw it open before I even knocked.
"They've been here all night" she said straight away ignoring all formalities.
Her hair was in a messy bun and she had restless bags under her eyes from the lack of sleep.
"Who" I asked her slowly before a loud crash was heard from upstairs, and I suddenly knew exactly 'who' it was.
I brushed past her and took the stairs two at a time. Before I even reached my room door I heard the grunts of struggle along with laughter. I got to my door and took a deep breath before I opened it to reveal my four idiot friends.
J.J was pinned down by Harley who looked down at him with a triumphant look "I told you I'd win" Harley smirked.
J.J struggled from underneath him "Okay, okay, mercy now get off" he growled.
"No I think I'll stay right here" Harley said while sitting up with both legs of either side of J.J so he was straddling him.
"Felix! Thank fuck, where were you?" Brendan freaked when he finally noticed me at the door.
Harley looked up at me as if he didn't even notice me before J.J shoved him off roughly. J.J scrambled away from Harley and sat on a bean bag, but not before grabbing a blanket to cover himself with. Harley stared at J.J in confusion but said nothing.
I swallowed before I said, "What is love"
This caught them all off guard as they looked at me but Brendan was the first to answer, "Well it depends on what kind of love you are asking about. There's the kind of love you only hold for a friend or sibling, then the kind you hold for a certain someone" he said.
"The second one" I mumbled.
"Oh" he muttered under his breath. Tyrell wrapped his arms around Brendan's waist before Brendan spoke up again. "Well, love is when you want to cherish one person in particular. You want to be with them 24/7 and everything sort of feels empty and dull when they aren't around. Love is when you are so devoted to one person that spending time with them is like heaven on earth. And just the little things they do can make you happy for an eternity. Yes, at times, you might want to yell or yank out your hair because they frustrate you but in the end you wouldn't have it any other way" he finished off and looked at Tyrell who was already staring at him in admiration.
J.J looked at Harley who was staring at Brendan like a child who was just told a story. Harley's eyes gleamed as if he never considered these things before. J.J looked away in hopelessness and sadness as if he realized that his feelings might never be returned.
Unknowingly to J.J, I'm in the same boat as he.
"But could I ask why you wanted to know" Brendan asked.
"No" I muttered.
They all glanced at me and I could tell that they felt hurt feeling as if I didn't trust them. That wasn't the case though I didn't trust anybody else as much as I trust them.
But don't they know the leader ins't supposed to break or feel weakness.
And heartbreak was weakness.....
