Chapter 21 ~Felix's Jealousy
It is a risk to love. What if it doesn't work out? Ah, but what if it does. ~Peter McWilliams

Felix's POV
"When Grant is jealous he looks like an angry, pouting kitten, and he turns slightly red so it's adorable. But when Felix gets jealous he turns into the hulk" Harley drawls before ducking when I throw my alarm clock at his head. "Dude!" he exclaims when it breaks against the wall on impact.
I just give him the bird and continue my pacing.
"You know Felix being jealous won't get you anywhere. You have to tell him how you feel, because clearly this game of cat and mouse is getting you nowhere. One day he's going to find someone else and you are going to regret never telling him how you feel" Brendan spoke wisely as always.
"I know but-"
"But nothing if your feelings are as strong for him as you claim you need to do something!" J.J cut in. "You've liked him since 8th grade. Don't you think that it's time to grow some balls and tell him how you feel?" He asked.
I looked at him and sighed "Yeah, but what if he doesn't feel the same?" I asked while deciding to finally take a seat on my bed.
Tyrell placed a hand on my shoulder "Well you won't know until you ask" he said while giving me a comforting squeeze.
I nodded feeling the new found determination kick in.
I stood up and slipped on my black timbs and hurried out of the house with one place in my mind.
*************
I rapped on the door and impatiently waited for someone to open the door.
"Felix, I didn't know you were coming over. Is everything alright?" Mr. Moore asked upon opening the door.
During the time that Harley went missing Mr. Moore has gotten to know me better. We spent quite a bit of time at the station when we filed that missing persons report we- and this isn't the time for that.
All that matters is that we've come to an understanding and he tolerates me and my friendship with his son.
"Is Grant home? I really need to talk to him....it's urgent" I told him.
He raised an eyebrow "Are you finally ready to ask him out" he asked seriously.
I choked on my words "W-What" I gasped out in shock which was a first for me in all honesty.
"If so isn't this the part where I give you the talk and establish the rules which you two will most definitely break" He asks slowly.
"Mr. Moore I-"
"I'm just fucking with you Felix. He's in his room go on in. Well you'll have to knock before entering, but you know what I mean" he chuckled. "Now I'll be going out for groceries and I won't be back for a few hours. No funny business" he said seriously before stepping out.
I suddenly felt really nervous. I've never felt this way about a fling before, maybe because this wasn't a fling. This was Grant, and I've loved him since 8th grade. I wanted a long term relationship with him. I wanted to with him until the end of time. I just wanted him, and only him.
I knocked on his door and got no response.
I knocked a second time. Then a third.
When I knocked the forth time I finally heard his muffled voice say 'Come in'.
