Felix's POV

*Present*

"I'm just saying that I think you should've told me first before coming out to meet him!" I exclaimed.

"Well I don't agree! I shouldn't have to tell you if I'm going out with anyone, Felix!" Grant yelled back at me.

"You do when it's him you're going out with!" I hissed.

Our argument on his front lawn has been going on for the past few minutes. We were both so lost in this fight we weren't aware of his neighbors now outside viewing the whole spectacle.

"No I don't! I don't know what the big problem is Felix!" he threw his hands up in frustration. "Truly I don't."

"Well let me clear it up for you! Not only did you ignore my calls and texts, but I found you at the ice cream parlor with Costas! Costas, of all people" I told him.

He went to speak, but I just started my rant.

"It looked like a date, Grant, and it felt like a slap to my face. Not only were you ignoring me all day, but I found you with the guy I hate the most. It was like a slap to my face, Grant! Did you even think about how I would feel?" I asked him in disbelief.

"Well what about you, huh!" he yelled over me. "What were you doing parading around town with Jason! You know I don't like him just as much as you don't like Costas!" he growled back.

I stared at him for a moment, "Wow Grant. Don't make this about me, because unlike you I wasn't with Jason. I just happened to find him in the ramen shop." I glared at him.

I guess it's time to explain our predicament.

*Earlier that day*

"I'm just worried because he's not answering" I told J.J over the phone. "Yeah, and I get that we just got back last night, but his dad told me he wasn't home either."

"I don't think he's missing, J.J." I sighed. "Look can you please just call him and tell me if he answers- me? No I'm not clingy! Whatever J.J, just get back to me when you can, okay? Bye." I hung up and tossed my phone down on the couch before falling down into it.

We got back home last night, Thursday, just like Grant and I planned.

Get home Thursday, have Friday and the weekend to wind down before going back to school on Monday.

I just thought we were both on the same page to spend the weekend together, but this morning when I called he didn't respond, so I waited an hour before trying again.

That was at 9 am now it's noon and I still haven't gotten a hold of him.

Needless to say I was getting concerned, even if he didn't want to hang out he could still answer me, right?

I sighed and pulled the drawstrings to my hoodie to make it close around my face.

"Are you okay?" I heard.

I opened my hoodie and glanced at Violet who took a seat on the love couch adjacent to mine with a mug of tea in her hands.

I shrugged, "Grant isn't answering, and no one, not even his dad, seem to know where he is." I answered.
