Grant's POV
"Okay on three" Felix told me as he placed his hands on my hips and led me a few steps backwards.
I tried my best to pay no attention it his hands on my bare skin. I kept on a determined look as I tried not to think about the shirtless boy standing directly behind me.
"Ready" he asked.
If I wasted anymore time I might chicken out. So I nodded eagerly to show my conformation that I was in fact ready.
"One" he started as he released his hands and stepped aside.
"Two" I breathed out looking ahead in determination.
"THREE" we shouted in unison as I charged forward tightening my grip on the rope as I ran off over the edge.
The adrenaline flowed through me and my heart leaped erratically in my chest.
"LET GO, GRANT" I heard the guys yell.
I didn't hesitate to release my hold from the rope, and let myself plunge into the lake below me.
I felt the cool water engulf me on all sides for a moment. Then in a swift motion I kicked my legs, and extended my arms to resurface.
Upon resurfacing I heard the cheers of the guys as I rubbed the water out of my eyes.
I heard a splash meaning that Felix, most likely, jumped in also. I laughed along with the guys as I felt the adrenaline leave my body.
I swam over to where the water got shallow before standing and walking to the bank. I stood next to the water as I watched Felix resurface and brush his hair back.
He laughed out at whatever Brendan told him before ducking him under the water for a few seconds.
He looked so happy and carefree that I couldn't fight the smile that tugged on my lips.
He looked over at me and we locked eyes. We both shared a smile before Brendan ducked him in the water as pay back.
It's been three days since Felix and I started dating, and although it's a bit cheesy to say, it's been the best three days.
Today is also March 3rd, aka Harley's 18th birthday, and the guys decided to spend the day at the lake by the tree-house.
"Sorry I'm late" I heard a voice sound.
I sucked in a breath.
He's here!
"Oh hey Jett" I greeted coolly....well as coolly as I could manage.
Felix and I were waiting for this moment mainly because we wanted to see if Harley and Jett were mates.
So of course we were bummed when Jett said he would be a bit late, meaning we would have to 'stay tuned' to find out.
"Where's Harley" he asked looking out at the water for the boy of honor.
Suddenly we heard a loud battle cry followed by a splash.
We both stared out at the lake where the other guys cheered "I'm guessing that was him" I told Jett.
He nodded in agreement and set his stuff down before throwing off his shirt and running straight into the water.
Felix made his way over to me "So how was jumping off of a cliff" he asked me.
"Fun" I muttered not moving my eyes from Harley who had a heated look locked on Jett.
Felix leaned into me "I guess we have our answer" he whispered before pecking my cheek and stepping back.
I nodded "It's cute" I muttered. "But how long until Harley tells him the truth and about....everything" I mutter back.
I turned my attention onto my boyfriend-.
Boyfriend.
That term seemed so foreign to me yet I was quickly getting used to it.
He hummed "I don't think it'll take too long" he answered. "I'm fucking hungry" he complained as his stomach growled.
I laughed "Then lets gather everyone and head to the tree-house for lunch" I told him.
He nodded "But first," he suddenly pulled me into him so both our chests were flushed together. He kissed me sweetly on the lips before pulling away "I've been wanting to do that since I saw you this morning" he grinned.
I blushed slightly "What took you so long" I grumbled.
He raised his eyebrows "Well excuse me, if you wanted a kiss you could've kissed me at anytime." he smirked. "My lips are free for your recreational use anytime you want" he wiggled his eyebrows at me suggestively.
I pushed him away and laugh.
"So...how about lunch" I stated and he nodded.
With that we gathered everyone and began to head back to the tree-house for lunch. But not without Jett and Harley whining first.
