Chapter 22

"Your dad is taking me to my doctors appointment. There's money to order pizza on the counter." Mom said as she grabbed her keys.

Kori had fallen asleep on my lap a few minutes into the show we were watching. I was subconsciously running my hand through her hair loving how soft it felt in between my fingers.

"Thanks mom. See you later." I replied using the remote to switch off the TV.

After she left I shook Kori's shoulders slightly trying to wake her up since she would get a stiff neck from her position. She grumbled turning her head to nuzzle it in my shirt.

"Wake up baby." I whispered trying to lift her off me.

Her hair had fallen all over her face as she sat up and I pushed back the misplaced strands. She looked around stretching her arms before turning back to me.

"You disturbed my slumber." She stated glaring at me.

"Well I thought you would like the bed better." I defended standing on my feet.

Kori groaned getting up and slowly climbed up the stairs with me behind her. She almost tripped over a textbook as she dropped onto the bed face first.

I laid down next to her staring up at the ceiling. My view was blocked by her smirking face while she straddled my hips intertwining her fingers with mine.

"What are you doing?" I laughed.

"I'm bored." She answered playing with our hands.

I watched as she compared the size of my hands to hers, mine looking like the size of a Sasquatch. We didn't talk for a while just sat there moving our fingers against each other's.

Her hands dropped mine so that hers rested on either side of my body. Kori dipped down kissing me quickly before pulling back.

"That was way too quick." I complained pulling her back down.

We kissed again but this time for much longer sucking at each other's lips. Her body rolled against mine taking me by surprise but it was pleasurable none the less.

Rolling us over so that I was on top I kissed her neck making her turn her neck and part her lips breathing heavily. She looked so pretty laying there with her hair splayed across the mattress. So pretty and all mine.

I removed myself from on top of her so that we could be beside each other. Kori turned onto her side so I pulled her back to my chest.

My hand ran over her sides slightly dipping into the curve of her hip. It was weird touching her like this. I wasn't use to just cuddling someone because I was so use to only having sex. But I liked it. I like just having someone to hold, just having the presence of another body next to me.

"I'm hungry." Kori announced breaking the silence.

"Pizza?" I suggested.

She craned her neck to face me, "That means you have to invite Michael."

We both laughed knowing that there was nothing he loved more than a nice slice of pizza. I called ordering two boxes then I invited the lads over telling them to bring a movie and drinks.

Twenty minutes later they arrived and so did the pizza. We all sat around the living room eating until Kori broke the silence.

"So what movie are we watching?"

Luke grinned pulling out a DVD case, "Insidious."

"That movie isn't even scary." Kori whined.

"That's because Luke would shit his pants if it was any scarier." Michael cackled grabbing another slice of pizza.

Luke pouted throwing his pizza crust at Michael, "It's a good movie."

"Just shut up and put it in." I sighed.

"That's what she said!" Calum, Michael, and Kori said all at once.

I flicked them off carrying my plate and an empty box of pizza to the trash.

"Hurry up Ashton it's starting!" Luke called from the other room.

"Coming!"

"Coming." I heard Calum snicker quietly.

I walked back into the living room seeing all of them trying to hold back their laughter.

"For fuck's sake can you guys not be dirty minded for once?"

"You love us." Calum smiled dramatically making his eyes scrunch up.

Yeah, I did.
