Chapter 23

"I'm not even drunk!" Michael exclaimed walking down the stairs with a beer in each hand. I studied him waiting for his foot to catch on a step sending him tumbling down any second. Leave it to him to get completely wasted at his own party.

He came barreling towards us with a huge smile on his face, "Friends!" He immediately wrapped his arms around Luke almost knocking the blonde off his chair.

"Get off me!" He whined trying to push Michael off who was rubbing his head up and down against his neck like a kitten.

"I love you." Michael repeated resting his head in the crook of Luke's neck.

Kori leaned over to whisper in my ear, "I ship them."

"Ship?" What the hell did a boat have to do with them?

She shook her head dismissively, "Nothing."

Calum returned from the kitchen with a handful of red cups distributing them between four of us.

"Where's mine?" Michael pouted looking quite hurt as he clung onto Luke's shirt making him squirm in discomfort.

"Tell your babe to get you one." Calum responded gesturing to Luke.

Michael looked up at the blue eyed boy widening his eyes a bit as he spoke in a soft voice, "Lukey you'll get me a drink right?"

Luke looked at the rest of us for help before moving to stand up, "Fine." He huffed walking with a very wobbly Michael towards the kitchen.

I sipped on my drink coughing a bit at the burn in my throat. It had been a while since I last drank believe it or not so I had to get use to the strong taste.

My attention adverted to Calum and Kori who sat very close to each other exchanging whispers. Kori glanced at me then turned back to her brother continuing the conversation.

"What are you two talking about?"

"Sibling stuff you wouldn't understand." Calum waved me off.

I rolled my eyes placing my cup on top of the table standing up from my seat, "Well I'm going to the bathroom." I announced although I knew they weren't paying attention to me.

Squeezing past people I maneuvered through the living room until I stumbled upon the hallway where the bathroom was located. Just as I reached to turn the door knob it burst open and I came face to face with the last person I wanted to see.

Laney.

"Oh hey Ashy." She grabbed my shoulder.

I cringed at the pet name picking up her hand to remove it from me.

"Can you move, I kinda need the toilet before I piss myself."

She smirked pressing herself against me while wrapping her arms around my neck, "How about afterwards you join me upstairs."

I honestly felt sick. First she tries to break up Kori and I and now she thinks I'll go hook up with her even though my girlfriend is mere feet away.

"No thanks, I'd rather have Kori panting underneath me." I shot back watching in satisfaction as she stepped back scowling.

"You're still with her?"

"Yup, looks like your little lie didn't work. Although I must say I was very shocked you were spreading something other than your legs."

"Go to hell." She spat heels clicking as she stormed away.

I sighed in relief hoping that would be the last I had to see her. Finally I was able to use the bathroom and when I was about to walk out Kori was stood against the opposite wall.

"Hey ba-" I was cut off by her kissing me pushing both of us back into the bathroom.

She kicked the door close fumbling to lock it while still moving her lips against mine. I didn't know what made her suddenly come onto me but I was enjoying every second of it.

Kori pushed me to sit on the toilet then she followed by straddling my hips.

"Good job telling Laney off." She mumbled keeping her lips mere millimeters away from mine.

My hands ran up her legs squeezing the top of her thighs, "You heard that?"

She nodded suddenly moving her hips against mine, "Especially the panting underneath you part."

My face flushed not sure how to respond to that so I just gripped her waist pulling our chest together connecting our lips once more. Kori rubbed herself against me with the friction of our clothes shooting pleasure through me.

It was suddenly very hot and steamy in the small space as our small pants echoed throughout the room. My bulge felt incredibly constricted until I felt her small hand reach down and stroke it.

I jumped at the action not expecting this to have gone this far. Things had never been this intimate between us but as she continued to apply pressure I wondered why hadn't we done this sooner.

"R-right there." I stuttered over my words as she ran her hand up and down with my stomach twisting in knots.

Kori's lips made their way to my neck and I threw my head back overwhelmed with lust. I didn't know what to do with my body so I just clung to her waist holding her on top of me.

Just as I felt my release I groaned out a few curse words leaving me breathless. Both of our chests were moving up and down quickly as we tried to catch our breath.

"You might want to clean yourself up." She chuckled pecking my forehead after she climbed off my lap.

"It's your fault."

Kori unlocked the door stepping outside only leaving her head poking through the doorway, "The countdown starts soon so hurry up."

The door shut and I ran the faucet hurrying to clean myself. After I finished I searched for my friends spotting Luke's tall ass standing to the side where everyone had crowded to watch the countdown.

I walked up behind Kori tickling her sides making her shriek and slap my chest.

"Where've you been buddy." Calum snickered patting my shoulder.

"There was a long like for the bathroom." I shrugged fitting my fingers between Kori's.

Suddenly everyone shouted as the countdown had finally begun.

"5."

I never expected to spend New Years holding hands with someone.

"4."

I never imagined actually having a relationship with my dad.

"3."

I finally patched up the holes in my life.

"2."

All because I tricked Kori into liking me.

"1."

And as we kissed I realized I was in love with her.
