Scared of you (Part 2)

Wow thanks for all the support guys! I remember how much I love writing.
I couldn't even read my own story I was cringing so hard.
Hiccup was just so mean :(
Here's part two :)

The real Hiccup was still in there. Just trapped behind overwhelming pain and stress.
If there was one thing that could pull him out of a hole that he was digging himself to death was her.
She did one thousand times and she could do it again.
Her crying frame, choked with tears, fear soaked, paralysised, was enough for Hiccup to break through the captors of his soul.
"Astrid..." Hiccups eyes widened, stress, anger, fear, no longer holding him hostage flew out, his painful memories stinging.
Fucking go!
Crash.
Sob.
"No..." Hiccup's hand flew to his head and clenched it, pulled it, punishing himself. "No..."
He crouched in front of Astrid, half not believing what had just happened. He couldn't believe he did it. He just couldn't. He doesn't want to. Because if he did he'd kill himself.
"Astrid." Hiccups hand floated over to hers, gently cupping it. The feather touch sent her jerking away.
"NO!" She screamed, her chest heaving with fear. She scooted away, but her legs still frozen.
"Astrid I'm so sorry." Hiccup murmured, his eyes imploring hers. But her eyes were squeezed shut, as if his face was the scariest thing alive.
He gently cupped both of her hands, she jerked away once more.
"NO! STOP!" Astrid cried, curling into a ball, hoping it would shield her from the monster. "GO AWAY!"
He really wanted to cry. He hurt her and in doing so himself. Because Astrid was part of him, a part he promised never to hurt.
He wanted to apologise. Tell her how much he loved her. How much he appreciated her. How much he wasn't without her.
I'll swim and sail on savage seas
With never a fear of drowning
And gladly ride the waves of life
If you would marry me
No scorching sun nor freezing cold
Will stop me
If you will promise me your heart
And love
And love me for eternity
But I would bring you rings of gold
I'd even sing you poetry
And I would keep you from all harm

His voice whispered, choked with love and affection a deaf person would sense. It came from his heart, genuine and meaningful.
His fingertips grazed her cheeks, gentle and encouraging. "Please, open your eyes Milady." Hiccup begged, kneeling infront of her, leaning in.
Very slowly, her blue irises were uncovered, drowning in tears. They quickly closed as their eyes meant, his green ones once filled with raging fire.
"No, no, no, Milady, please, I won't do anything, I promise..." he said to no avail, her eyes still hidden.
Hiccup inhaled softly, before swiveling on the spot, his back faced to Astrid, staring at the pies and the basket on its side, Hiccup wondered why ever in his mindset would he even think about doing such a thing.
"I didn't mean one hell of a word that came out of my mouth, Babe, I'm sorry." Hiccups started. "Stress got over me, and I took it out in you. You'd know I'd never yell at you Milady." His voice laced with honesty. "Or never be violent, ever. Especially to you. I'm sorry. I'm so so sorry. I understand if you'd not like me to face you but know, please know that I love you. So much, it hurts me. And that I'd never mean anything I said."
Astrid's voice rang, no fear, not a trace, saying "I forgive you. And I love you too, more than you could ever imagine."
