"Come on, Toothless!" Hiccup patted the side of his head eagerly, eyeing his girlfriend and Stormfly gaining on the black sheep, the Nadder's claws extending...

Hiccup whooped in laughter as Toothless shot up from underneath, snatching the bleating sheep just before Astrid got it. Hiccup threw a mischievous smile over his shoulder to Astrid as Toothless sped away, warbling with a gummy smile.

"HICCUPPP!" Astrid yelled with a laugh, not sounding mad at all. She huffed and smirked, pressing Stormfly forward. 

"Let's finish this, shall we?" Hiccup grinned, hoisted the wriggling black sheep in his arms and braced himself as the row of baskets came into view...

Toothless bucked, sending Hiccup into the air. Hiccup ran across the platform and jumped, throwing the sheep under him into the blue basket with Stormfly painted on the sign and jumped over the edge. He tumbled down and his Night Fury caught him, grinning toothily as Gobber yelled, "ASTRID WINS THE RACE!"

Hiccup pumped a fist into the air, the Berkians cheering like madmans. Toothless hovered in the air, accepting the applauds. Being alpha is really going to get to him. 

Hiccup only got to see Astrid's bright blue eyes full of affection before she kissed him as Stormfly flew above the two and spinning upside down so Astrid could press her lips to his. Heh, rewards never tasted sweeter. 

Astrid sped away way too soon for Hiccup's liking, her silver laugh ringing in his ears. He spun around to see Astrid blow him a kiss sweetly, landing on the top tier of the podium, gesturing invitingly for Hiccup to land beside her.

Hiccup smirked, Toothless landing on the platform next to Stormfly with a triumphant and proud roar. The cheers became impossibly louder.

After a minute of accepting triumphs with proud smiles, Hiccup yelped, surprised, as someone jerked him by the arm backwards off Toothless. He stumbled off, regaining his balance but he wasn't given much time to as Astrid pulled him along hurriedly down the podiums to behind the tapestries.

"Someone's in a hurry." Hiccup said snarkily as Astrid placed herself into Hiccup's arms, pressing to his chest, signalling she wanted to be held. Hiccup happily obliged, tightening his arms around her and pressing messy kisses to her forehead. "Can't just wait a few more minutes?"

Astrid looked up and their nose brushed, making them both smile. 

"Why'd you let me win?" Astrid asked, smirking. 

Hiccup shrugged and pressed a kiss to her nose. "Because i love you." He said nonchalantly like it was a simple and the most obvious answer in the world. Astrid cocked an eyebrow, wanting more information. 

"Because i loooove you so much." Hiccup repeated again smugly, kissing her nose again.

"You're too sweet for your own good." Astrid scolded, but didn't sound angry at all either, more flattered and grateful.

"I'm sorry." Hiccup apologised mockingly with an exaggerated pout, rubbing circles on her hipbone.

Astrid laughed and exhaled in happiness, resting her head on his shoulder and nuzzled his neck, hugging his middle, nestling into his leathers. "I love you a lot." She whispered, her words vibrating down Hiccup's body and warmed his heart. 

"Me too." Hiccup nuzzled his nose to her cheek and craned his head to the side to kiss her sweetly, stroking her back. Astrid hummed contently into his warm lips and kissed back tenderly.

"OI HICCSTRID!" Tuffnut's unwanted voice called from above, their connected lips breaking apart. "COME BACK! THE ACTUAL GAME IS ABOUT TO START."

Hiccup grumbled irritatingly, very reluctantly untangling their bodies. Astrid seemed disgruntled, too. Maybe she should just let Snotlout win so this race to be over quickly and she could steal Hiccup away from the world...

Astrid stole a kiss from Hiccup, pecking his lips, making him chuckle an pulled her back for a quick but proper kiss.

"Are you going to let me win this time?" Astrid teased gently, trailing her finger around his calibrated button like she was about to push it.

Hiccup tilted his head and gave her a genuine look, that he was telling the truth. He cupped her cheek, running his thumb over her azure skin, making her smile. "I'll always let you win, Milady."
