"Ali, have you lost your mind? Come on" Salma said, her eyes were closed and wrapped by a blind .
"Wait a second. Where is your patience? We're almost there."Ali said, taking her hand and directing her towards his present.
"Are we there yet?" She asked as they stopped. He stood behind her and untied the blind.
"Yup, open your eyes slowly"he whispered in her ears. She opened them and saw a big white mansion, that she saw before in the fairytale's books.
"Ali, Ali, what is this?"she said not believing .
"It's our house, of course. What else did you think?"he teased her.
"Oh my God, oh my God. You are kidding. Are you.....? You are crazy." She said excitedly .
"Yes, I am. I am crazy about you."he said playfully
"When did you buy this?"she asked puzzled
"I didn't "he admitted it."I built it. See, Joe has made the design for me and I with 30 workers built it." He continued.
"Unbelievable. This can't be real. I always thought these things only happen in stories and movies. It doesn't happen in real life. You don't happen in real life, Ali"her eyes were flooding.
"You know, there is nothing wrong with Fairytales, Salma. You can believe in them. Because once in a while love give us a fairytale."he said looking her straight in the eyes. He loved her, he loved everything about her, he loved her solid mind, her strong spirit, her caring heart, and even her anger issues, the way she is cruel to the people who hurt her but still has a very kind heart. If only life give us everything we want . Or the only thing we want.
"Hi there, princess" Youssef said as he saw her dressed in a white long dress with a pink ribbon tied as a knot around her waist.
"I am not a princess"she argued.
"Well, you are born to be a princess."
"That's so not true. " she would never surrender. Mariam just loved fighting with him, playfully for sure.
"I know what you mean. And I agree that you don't need a prince to rescue you. You are the administrator of your own rescue. But that doesn't mean that you are not a princess." He argued with a proof
"You are my princess. " he teased her knowingly .
"No, I am a queen. I am your queen . See, I rule your heart." She teased him back.
"Proud" he said to her
"Arrogant" she said to him
"Are you going to tell me what is it?" He said seeing that she tried as hard as she can to hide something that was bothering her.
"It's nothing.... Really." She lied
"You know, you are the worst liar I've ever seen. Seriously you can't lie. Especially to me, you can't lie to me." He said eyeing her. She felt her blood rise, her heat was heightened . She looked away.
"Are you okay, Mariam ?" He asked worriedly.
"....no. My brother think I'm your slave. Mayar admitted that she doesn't like me this way and mom . Mom doesn't agree on my every decision. I think they hate me. So no. I'm not okay. " she said looking down. He raised her head and made her look in his eyes.
"If they can only see you, they would understand. And I'm sure that they don't hate you, they can never hate you. I mean you are destined to be loved. Haven't you met you?!" He said as he meant every word.
"It seems like you are the only one that sees me. " she said , her eyes laughing between her tears that sparkled without leaving her eyes.
In the army, they had the last weapons shipment delivered . Israel was spinning around itself; not knowing what to do after the Mossad had been burnt to the ground. They couldn't know what's happening around them. And that's exactly what Egypt wanted. The president, Omar, came back after a week and took hold of the domestic measures that shall be taken in case of failure. They had to protect Egypt and it's people, no matter what. That's why they started the back up plan.
War is just a short word but has the biggest effect on humans souls. Many fear war, some think of it as a necessity and a few desire it. Mostly the destruction of war lies in the unknown consequences . It ruins nations , wipe entire countries from the face of the earth but the worst part is that you lose a part of your existence in the war against yourself. You become a witness of an inner soul conflict . No one said it was easy to kill someone but no one said it would be this hard. Let alone to kill an entire spices. Even if they are the most damned spices on the entire planet. You still see a part of your soul ripped out every time you kill a person until you are full of scars that never heal. Wether you win or lose, all you leave behind in the world is scars.
"Sir" Faras said as he met Youssef at the army gate.
"Faras" Youssef said standing still facing him.
"I came to talk to you. Plainly I don't give a damn if you are the head of the army. Mariam is my sister. And you are going to divorce her." Faras said straight forward thinking that this state can no longer go on. This is not a real marriage . It never was and it will never be. It's just a paper marriage. This was the plan from the start. And it's time to end it.
"If that what she wanted. It's hers. Don't worry, I will never keep her against her will. But until she asks me to divorce her, you stay out of it."his voice raised
"You know damn well that she'll never ask you. I have no idea what you've done to her. I no longer know her. For God sake, One word from you is enough. One word. It's enough for her to leave everything and come running to you. Wherever you go, she goes. Whatever you see, she sees. If you say jump, she jumps. She follows you everywhere. It's like she is your sla....." He couldn't continue as Youssef grabbed him closer , holding his jacket firmly.
"Thank God that you are her brother. Coz other wise, I would have erased you from the face of the earth without a blink of an eye. You have no idea, who your sister is. She is the strongest person I've ever met. What you just said shows that your sister is in love. And that's how strong her love is. There is nothing she wouldn't do for the people she loves. And I am so lucky to love her. I am the lucky one. What she is doing for me , I'll do the exact same thing for her. And I'll follow her, I'll follow her everywhere till the end of my life."he said throwing him away fiercely.
