Chapter 3~ I'm Driving You
There are pros and cons to having to go to school.
Pros...
Oh, who am I kidding. I've got nothing.
Cons. Well, I would say waking up at 5:00 am to get to the high school and start lessons at 7:15 is complete bullshit. Girls (well, at least for me,) have got to do all of their makeup and style their hair in something decent for school every day. And I waste so much time on doing that. What can I say? This would probably be the only reason I would have on a list for disliking being female.
Wait, nevermind. Periods are #1 on that list.
Another thing would have to be those boring teachers that think they are education us, but instead are putting us directly to sleep. Well, make us want to, as least.
I could probably name so many more, but the shrill sound of Staci's screeching in my ear kind of took me out of my thoughts.
"Reesssssseeeeee!" Staci yelled in my ear, while also snapping her perfect French Manicured nails repeatedly in my face. "Get the hellllll uppppppp!"
I wildly moved my head all around the place as I got my eyes to adjust to the light shining in the room. I groaned, finally picking my head up and removing my fuzzy blanket from on top of me.
"She's alive!" Lyra exclaimed, tugging on my arm and pulling me out of the couch, causing me to land face-first on the ground.
"Ow." I whined, picking myself up from the ground and rubbing my face as though I was putting face wash on it. When I looked up from the ground, I happened to notice that Staci and Lyra were not in their pajamas anymore, unlike me. Staci was wearing a red and green plaid buttoned shirt that she left unbuttoned, with a white tank underneath that had a lace design all over. She was also wearing black skinny jeans and tan uggs with the white fur surrounding them.
I looked to Lyra, who was wearing a pink "Love Pink" sweatshirt with white skinny jeans and black ankle boots. Both of their hair was down in their natural hair, both had waves.
"What time is it?" I questioned, continuing to rub my eyes.
"6:45." Lyra answered simply, as if it was no big deal.
"WHAT!" I yelled, causing them to jump. "Guys, why didn't you wake me up?"
"We tried, but damn, you're either a very heavy sleeper, or you were in a really deep sleep. At this rate, you could have probably sleet through Hurricane Sandy." Lyra told me.
"Shit, I need to get ready!" I stated, grabbing my bag I brought over which contained the clothes I was going to wear to school today, and ran into the bathroom across from me and shut the door. My outfit consisted of a white, tank crop top with the word #selfie printed on the front in black with a red box surrounding it. I paired it with faded blue high-waisted jeans, black and white converse, and a black leather jacket. I quickly threw my auburn hair up in a messy bun and ran out the door, grabbed a banana from Staci's kitchen, and we all ran out the door and into Staci's car to get to school. Since we already left our backpacks in the car last night, we wouldn't need to rush back in and get them.

We arrived to school just 5 minutes before the bell would ring. We all got out of the car, slammed the car doors shut, and parted ways as we entered the building and went to our lockers which were all in different areas. I quickly ran towards mine that was at the end of the hall on the lower floor and put my backpack in, got out my 1st through 4th period binders, notebooks, etc., and shut the locker to go off to Chemistry which was upstairs.
