Chapter 11~ Parties are Fun...
The ride to Tanner's house was pretty much awkward. While Staci, Lyra, and I were all sitting in the backseats, Hunter and James were up in the front seats talking about the most random shit while swearing like sailors.
"Why didn't you fuck her?" Hunter questioned, "She was clearly turned on by you, man."
"What the actual hell?" I whispered to Staci and Lyra. They both just shrugged their shoulders, and we say silent for the rest of the ride, listening in on Hunter and James' conversation about horny girls. Talk about disgusting.

We arrived at Tanner's house, or should I say mansion, at 7:20. What's sad is that there were already red Solo cups scattered out on the front lawn.
I really felt like this was gonna be one of those stereotypical parties where we're all gong to walk in and see tons of couples making out.
And judging by the fact that when we looked into the window, there was a couple grinding against each other to some rap song we could hear from outside, I'm guessing my thoughts are gonna be accurate.
Hunter opened the door, letting Staci, Lyra, and I enter the house first.
"Guys, whose the designated driver?" I asked.
"I'm probably gonna get buzzed, so not me" James replied, crossing his arms and shaking his head sideways.
"I am" Hunter replied, making me let out an unreasonable scoff.
"You're gonna drive us home? And what? Crash your car into a street pole?"
James suddenly walked to my side, crouching down to be level with my short height. "Hunter doesn't drink," he whispered, "He kind of had a, let's just say he had a pretty bad experience the first time he consumed alcohol."
"Oh" I softly replied, a little surprised that the Hunter Blake doesn't drink.
"Yeah" he quietly replied, his voice becoming a little hoarse. Obviously, there must be a backstory as to what happened when Hunter first drank beer. I was suddenly getting very curious, but I knew that it was none of my business.
As we walked further into the house, there was strobe lights all hung and placed around the inside of the house.
"I'm gonna go get some drinks" James told us. "You guys want any?" He asked, pointing towards the three of us.
Staci and Lyra responded with a "yes," while I just stood next to them quietly.
"Reese?" He asked.
"No thanks" I responded, "I've never had alcohol and I'm never going to."
"Aw, we have an innocent teenager with us" James cooed, squeezing me into an unneeded hug. "You sure?" He whispered in my ear.
"I'm sure" I replied, having him let go of me, as he walked into the kitchen.
As I took a small step back, I guess I must've stepped on somebody's foot. As I turned around, I was shocked to come face-to-face with Nick.
"Nick?" I questioned, shocked to see him since I haven't since the first day he came to our school.
"Hey, Reese" he responded, giving me a smile.
"Where have you been?" I asked.
"I had the flu for a couple of days. But don't worry, I've recovered." He then gave me a sly smirk.
