"Could I have your attention please." Professor McGonagall stated in the front of the classroom. I sat next to Pansy as we listened to the Professor speak.

"Now, today we will be transforming animals into water goblets." McGonagall explained as she walked towards a bird that sat on a stand in the middle of the room.

"Like so, one.... two... three... Vera Verto." She stated as she tapped the bird. The bird immediately transformed into a glass goblet.

"Now, who would like to go first? Mr. Weasley?" She asked as she approached him.

"Vera Verto!" Ron casted as he tapped his rat. The rat turned into a goblet, but it wasn't made out of glass. The goblet was furry and still had a tail. It looked disgusting. Everyone in the classroom laughed at Ron's rat.

"That wand needs replacing, Mr. Weasley." McGonagall gestured to the tape around Ron's wand. Hermione raised her hand and waited to be called on.

"Yes, Ms. Granger." McGonagall asked.

"Professor, I was wondering if you could tell us about the Chamber of Secrets?" Hermione questioned hesitantly. While McGonagall looked hesitant to answer the question.

"Very well." She sighed giving up on her thinking.

"You all know of course, that Hogwarts was founded over a thousand years ago by the four greatest witches and wizards of the age: Goddrick Gryffindor, Helga Hufflepuff, Rowena Ravenclaw, and Salazar Slytherin. Now three of the founders coexisted harmoniously. One did not. Salazar Slytherin wished to be more selective about the students that would be admitted to Hogwarts. He believed that magical learning should be kept within all-magic families. In other words, purebloods." McGonagall explained staring at me when speaking about purebloods.

"Unable to sway the others, he decided to leave the school. Now, according to legend. Slytherin has built a hidden chamber in this castle. Known as the Chamber of Secrets. Though, shortly before departing he sealed it. Until that time when his own true heir returned to the school. The heir alone would be able to open the chamber. And unleash the horror within and by doing so purge the school of all those who in Slytherins views. We're unworthy to study magic." McGonagall added. I could sense she was scared.

"Muggle borns." Hermione added.

"Well naturally the school has been searched many times. No such chamber has been found." McGonagall stated.

"Professor, what exactly does legend tell us lies within the chamber?" Hermione asked.

"The chamber is said to be home to something that only the heir of slytherin can control. It is said to be home of a monster." McGonagall answered. Class ended shortly after our discussion. Pansy and I were on our way. I couldn't stop thinking about the chamber. Who was the heir?

The next day was Quidditch. Since it was Draco's first game, Lucius would be there. I was forced to sit with him instead of the other Slytherins. I had hopped to postpone our reunion a few more months, guess it couldn't wait.

"He better not embarrass me." I heard Lucius grumble from besides me. I watched as the Slytherins scored, again.

"And another goal for Slytherin! They lead Gryffindor ninety to thirty!" The announcer shouted. As the Slytherins all cheered from across me. I sat with the parents who were extremely quiet and boring. Snape sat on the other side of Lucius and didn't say a word to me. Draco and Harry still hadn't seen the snitch, and I hopped they wouldn't. They both could get hurt, and I didn't want that. I watched as a bludger flew almost hitting Harry, it came back down knocking Oliver off of his broom and almost hitting Harry again. The ball began to swerve and chase Harry wherever he flew.

I watched as he attempted to dodge it by flying through a student section. The ball still followed him.  He swerved around one of the Slytherin stands, the bludger flew right through it. I stared in confusion as Harry stopped and began talking to Draco. Most likely Draco mocking him. I gasped as the bludger almost hit Draco in the head. The two boys randomly began to fly, I assumed they had caught sight of the snitch. They began shoving each other, flying side by side.   Suddenly the boys flew under the tents and stands. I couldn't see them, but I could hear as the bludger contacted with wooden poles and rods underneath me.

I watched as Draco flew up from underneath the stands. He bounced all over the place, he lost his broom. Than landed on his butt. He stayed down as if he was about to cry. I looked over at Lucius out of the corner of my eye to see him glaring at Draco. My attention was turned back to Harry when I saw the bludger connect with his hand. It was most likely broken. He used his other hand to reach out for the snitch. Harry fell off of his broom and collided with the ground.

"Harry Potter has caught the snitch! Gryffindor wins!" The announcer cheered as Harry laid on the ground and held up the small golden ball. Everyone cheered, but the applauses stopped when the bludger came hurling down towards Harry. He rolled over and dodged the ball countless times. I watched from the stands as teachers plus Hermione and Ron ran towards Harry. Hermione whipped out her wand and destroyed the bludger. Everyone was ushered out of the stands and back to their common rooms. Lucius stated he wanted to talk to Draco. I knew that wouldn't end well, but fearing what the outcome would be if I interfered I left quietly.

As weeks went on the school began to grow more and more mysterious. Children had been turning up petrified like Filches cat. Hogwarts was growing unsafer by the minute.
