Time Travelers

I looked over the edge of the hill as Sirius turned his back on the children and walked away. He just happened to be walking closer towards me, he looked up and we made eye contact. He tilted his head to the side and looked at me in confusion. I put my finger up to my lips and hushed him. He just nodded his head and walked away. I watched as Harry left Hermione and Ron's side to talk to Sirius. I felt a bit jealous. I couldn't hear what anyone was saying. The two stared up at the castle. I watched as Lupin dragged Pettigrew out of the hole. Pettigrew attempted to reason with Ron. Seeing he lived with him for the last twelve years I could see why he would. Sirius began to talk a little louder. Probably wanting me to hear what he was saying.

"I can understand if you'd choose to stay with your aunt and uncle. But if you ever wanted a different home?" He asked loudly. I knew he was asking Harry, but he was also asking me. I moved closer to the edge and looked over. Sirius looked up quickly to make eye contact with me. This was a huge thing, I would need time to think about this. He then began to quietly talk again with Harry.

"Harry!" Hermione called pointing up at the sky to reveal a full moon. Everyone looked to the sky including Lupin. Sirius ran up to him and began to try and calm him down. Sirius hugged him as Lupin began to cry out. He dropped his wand, giving time for Peter to pick it up. He pointed it towards himself, Harry casted the wand out of his hand. But it was too late, he was already transforming back into a rat and running away. The children watched as Lupin cried out in agony. His clothes began to rip as he transformed. Sirius ordered the children to run.

They didn't move, Lupin threw Sirius off of him and out of sight. He was a full werewolf. He stood on two legs and had little thin fur. He looked terrifying. The wolf began to whimper. Hermione began to approach him, I knew this was a bad idea. I stood up from my spot and watched as the wolf and her made eye contact. He howled causing her to jump back along with Harry and Ron. The wolf bent down and began to walk towards them, he was walking on all fours now. It was scarier then when he was standing. Snape appeared from the hole with his back turned to the wolf. I actually laughed as Lupin swiped Snape away with a slash of his claw. I watched as Sirius jumped on Lupin in wolf form bitting him hard. The two began to fight roughly. If only the others ran away I would be able to help. Sirius bite Lupin's leg and ran away with Lupin chasing after him. I watched as Harry moved from the group and ran after everyone else. This was my chance.

I stood up from my spot and ran down the hill. I heard another howl a few feet in front of me. I picked up speed and ran faster, through the forest until I collided with something, or someone. I looked up to see Harry in front of me next to him stood Hermione. I squinted my eyes in confusion, this was odd. I could of sworn I left Hermione back there with the rest of the group. I looked out of the tree line to see Lupin, Sirius, and Harry? I turned back around and was about to scream. But Harry put his hand over my mouth.

"Bella, we will explain everything later but you need to leave." He ushered I pushed Harry's hand away from my face.

"This is what he meant when he said familiar faces." I gasped with my eyes wide.

"What do you mean?" Hermione asked squinting her eyes.

"Dumbledore sent me!" I exclaimed remembering what he wanted me to say once I found them.

"What are you serious? Why you." Hermione asked in confusion. I knew why, but I couldn't tell them.

"I don't know he didn't say. He just saw me watching the execution after I took Draco to the Hospital Wing. Probably because I was the closest student to him at the time." I lied shrugging my shoulders. The sounds of whimpering gained my attention, it was Sirius. I needed to do something. Hermione placed her hands over her mouth and began to howl. Harry grabbed her like he had me.
