Claire's POV

Okay, all limbs existent? Head on top of your shoulders? Eyes? What about ears?

All existent, I answered my own brain. I'm good. Despite the fact that I'm talking to myself.

Stay down, first thing you do: don't open your damn eyes. What is happening?

My head was laying on something warm and soft. Other parts of me were on the cold floor. Instantly I was freezing. Something was stroking my hair.

There was no sound except the constant dripping off water.

It smelled like salt and something old.

"Still no movement" somebody said.

"Their patience isn't overflowing, to say it carefully" another one added.

"I know" the first whispered. "Suggestions?"

Nobody said another word but I guessed, the second one shook it's head.

"He will come for her, you know?"

Probably this was the clue for my body to let my eyes snap involuntarily. I gazed up to a moist ceiling and green unhealthy vegetation. I started coughing and sat up immediately.

This was really disgusting.

I tried to stop my body before I would throw up. Luckily it worked, a little.

Suddenly warm arms were wrapped around me, crushing me in a tight hug.

"I could kill you for shocking me like that. And I could kill you for letting me behind like that" she practically yelled in my ear.

"Huh?" I exclaimed smartly. She stabbed me with her eyes, glowered at me and furrowed her brows.

"Get a room... Or wait no, not possible, so please stop undressing each other" a voice snarled annoyed.

I glazed over to another women. She looked angry but yet morosely. Her body was covered in scratches and wounds. She seemed done. She seemed as if she saw too many terrible things, too much death.

"May" she said.

"I'm-"

"I know" she snapped.

I noticed Ana was in the same condition yet in a better mood.

"You are the reason why this all is happening. Just for you!"

I backed away. Not only from May but also from Ana as I felt how her body tensed.

"What makes you so damn precious, huh? WHAT?" she now screamed. She jumped up and with two step she crossed the space between us and towered in front of me.

"Maybe I should try your blood. Maybe I'll be strong enough to get him back. Maybe just half of your will be enough!"

May grabbed my throat, pulling me onto my feet and pushed me against the wet wall. My hands grabbed her wrist while struggling to get out of her hold.

I gasped for air.

The déjà vu floated my mind.

Suddenly two strong male hands grabbed my throat and slammed me against the wall. I gasped for air. Before I could glide to the ground he choked me again.

"Get away form this planet! You'll be dead soon, girl. Get into the prison you belong in! I made myself clear, did I?"

I tried to speak but I rang for air and I couldn't answer.
