Tim's POV
I screamed. The mental but also the physical pain was too much after everything. I tried to run after her but the pain was just enough to make me fall again. Ana screamed too. I didn't know whether she screamed at me or because she felt the same agony building inside.
I didn't care.
I promised her to safe her, to protect her and I failed.
Dark itching remorse was crawling its way into my heart.
I saw Claire running and finally breaking down. Light and Dark mixing up around her but never uniting. They were fighting.
"Run" I said lowly to Ana but she didn't hear me till I yelled: "RUN!"
I wanted her to escape. If Claire couldn't live then the part which she loved should live instead of her.
Ana looked at me and grabbed her own sword. The silhouette were still standing around, though not attacking us. One last gaze at me and the girl started sprinting on the lightened path. The same way Claire took.
I cried after her, telling her to turn around, run in the opposite direction but to no avail. I observed how she kneeled next to Claire.
"If you want her get her!" she screamed. For a few moments nothing happened. I saw the shadows who attacked us on the temple ground in the dark mass waving around on the right side and just blinding light on the left side.
"Don't be afraid." The voice was coming from everywhere and nowhere. It sounded like Claire, who was obviously still unconscious on the way.
Light and dark builed up more and more. There was no sound, other than my breathing and May's who was still standing like she was of stone.
I felt the waves of power and energy floating the universe. I covered my head with my hands as if it will help anything but still watched Claire.
The waves didn't get less intensive but rather the opposite. Planets started moving in other directions and stars changed their positions.
"Don't be scared, Tim" Claire's voice echoed through the orbit. This shouldn't be possible after all physical laws...
The chaos all around us swelled till comets, stars and planets were circling around us, faster and faster till it was only a mix of light lines. And finally they crashed right on the spot were Claire and Ana were kneeling.
I screamed her name.
I stumbled onto my feet, ignoring the consuming pain and ran as fast as possible on the light path.
