Claire's POV
"Tim! Tim, wait! Let me explain" I shouted after him. My bare feet made low clap noises on the wooden ground.
"Tim! Wait, now!"
The door to his chamber opened and closed right when I stood in front of it. I heard Ana some steps behind me.
Slowly I opened the door again and pushed it close behind me.
Tim stood with his back facing me. I stepped towards him, stretching my hand out.
"There's one way to stop this insanity. We have to kill it by the root. And we have to do it soon. As soon as possible... Get your things. I know where to go" he said, not facing me and with a voice as cool as steal.
"Tim, let me-"
"No! Don't you understand? Isn't your brain working with this information? Claire, we don't have time for this!"
"TIM! I let you go! I thought you were dead. Freaking dead! And suddenly you're here. You're here, fighting, living, breathing. But not near me. You shut me out and demand to trust you, without trusting me back. I just want answers and somebody to talk with."
My voice got lower with each word I spoke. This has been Tim, who stood in front of me. But all I could see was a person I used to know. Like they changed the spirit inside him.
Give him back to me, I prayed to my goddess. Bring him back to me.
"How do you know?" My voice was blank and it scared me. I didn't sound like me at all. Like I was changed too.
"Master Rel."
I nodded in memories of the very memory Master Rel showed me.
I walked out of the room, passed Ana and dozen of other door, till I reached my room.
I walked over to my armour, pulled it on and searched for my sword. I pushed it in my sheath and walked back to the door.
"Where do you think your going?" She asked softly.
"I see..." She added. "You don't have to do-"
"Yes, I do" I cut her off. "And you're staying here. For your safety. I can't loose you again."
"Then let me go with you! Let me stay!"
"No. They could come around again and you wouldn't be protected. Here you are. You have to stay safe, Ana." My voice was filled with desperation but I knew I was right.
"I won't stay here while you go out there and risk your life! I don't even know why we're discussing that! I'm way stronger than you, less fragile, less -"
"Shut up! I told you to stay!"
I sounded like her. I sounded like Ana when she told me not to make big decision with out her consent.
I was sorry immediately.
"Ana, look, I'm sorry, I didn't mean to be... I'm sorry, I'm just worried about you" I watched her reaction but her face stayed blank.
Then suddenly it changed from one moment to the next, reveling her anger and disappointment.
"How could you?" she screamed. "I am made from them. I know what's waiting outside! They are after you, not me and still you think you're in the position to command me around?"
Ana grabbed my neck, forcing me to stumble backwards till I hit the wall hardly.
"I am a goddess! While you are a breakable human! Your bones would shatter if I'll grip harder than now! You don't know anything! You stand under me and yet, yet you still try to say me something?"
