One Step Closer (Sequel to OSAAT)

-Not A Chapter!- (But you should read.)

Hello! It's Emma here.

I would just like to announce that I am going to be starting a schedule for this fanfiction! I'm also starting schedules for my other stories... but, psh... I just think this one needed a proper little non-chapter to tell you...

What? I have no clue.

Anyhow. I'm going to be updating this here story every Tuesday from now on! Well, unless you know, I can't for some reason... but if I can't, I will most likely give you a heads up, or make it up and update some other time! Because that's the Emma way! So, every Tuesday, more or less.

Also, I wanted to have a serious talk about this story. Now. If you have read this from the very very tippy top beginning (The beginning of a story isn't exactly up at the tippy top, but you know what I mean), you would have probably realized this story is a lot different from the first story. The first story was completely filled with One Direction and #Jali, #Rauren, and #Lake did not exist whatsoever. Jackie, Rachel, and Lu...Lu just didn't exist. (If you don't get that joke... just... read this book.)

Now, I know some of you are probably screaming out your OTPs at the top of your lungs and saying: "IT'S SO MUCH BETTER WITH #JALI! LIKE, HOW DID I EVEN LIVE WITHOUT IT?!" or even "#RAUREN HAS KILLED ME! I NEED IT. FRUIT YOU, #LOUREN, #RAUREN IS LIFE." Or... maybe you're screaming "#LAKE! #LAKE!"

I don't know... but yes, I agree, those three ships make this story very interesting... but, without #Louren, #Nialli, or #Laurry... this isn't really a 1D fanfic... now is it?

I will admit, though, that I am quite the #Jali and #Rauren shipper... and sometimes I just want to be like: "IN YO FACE LEWIS. LAUREN LOVES RICKY... SHE MIGHT NOT KNOW THAT YET, BUT GUESS WHAT? I KNOW THAT! AND IT'S LIKE THE SAME THING." But... I still realize, that everyone who reads this is a Directioner.

BUT. It's not that I'm going to kill off Ricky, Jack, and Luke or anything, I'm just telling you that I'm going to try to balance the new ships with old ships.

(SPOILER IF YOU HAVEN'T READ THIS BOOK FOR WHATEVER REASON)I realize #Nialli is broken up, and if I got them to makeup... all of my #Jali shippers would rip my head off... literally. So, I'm not going to tell you how I'm going to put One Direction back in, but I just wanted you to know, that it will be happening. Now... if you like it how it is... and you want me to know that, you go right ahead and leave me a comment.

Guys... I just literally don't know what to do... like, is anyone mad that this has morphed into a not so 1D fanfic? I don't want to upset anyone! It's just harder, because now Ali and Lauren are in college, and One Direction is on tour... and Ricky, Luke, and Jack are interesting and obviously hot... like, HOW AM I SUPPOSE TO WORK WITH THAT? MAKE LAUREN AND ALI PERFECT LITTLE ANGELS? I can't do that. I just don't want you guys to hate this story because it's no longer filled with 1D... does that make sense?

Did any of that make sense?

You know what? I'm just going to let that sink in... You guys just comment whatever you want... yeah...
