Luke's POV

"I'll see you later, okay?" Kylie nodded, placing a kiss on my cheek. I smiled at her and placed my hands on her waist. She smiled at me and as soon as I reached down to kiss her, the door I was leaning on, fell open. I fell back, landing on something and Kylie landed on me. I looked up and saw Jack. "Oh... hey."

"This is always fun." Kylie said, getting off of me. I sighed and got up as well. Jack sniffled and stared at both of us. "I'll see you." Kylie said, pecking my lips. I waved at her as she walked down the hallway and she waved back. I turned around and glared at Jack.

"What?" I asked Jack, walking past him and into our room.

"I was lonely." I looked at Jack and furrowed my eyebrows.

"Are you okay...?" I asked, worried for his mental state at this point.

"No."

"Can I help you?" I asked him, realizing I've never been in this kind of situation... ever.

"No." Jack shut the door and walked back to the beds. He got in his and covered himself up with his blankets.

"Do you want to talk about anything?" I asked him.

"Yeah... but not really." He sighed and stared at the ceiling. "It turns out my picture perfect family is no where near picture perfect. My dad cheated on my mom twice. Twice! That could've been two kids, but lucky for us, only one was made in the process of cheating."

"Jack, whoa, slow down. What are you talking about?" I asked him, completely confused.

"I got to meet my demented little sister today. Who knew someone who's not even your actual sibling could look so much like you." Jack sat up in his bed and looked at me. "She has my nose. My exact nose. This nose is only mine, no one in my family has it, Luke. It's mine."

"Your dad... had a kid with another woman?"

"Yes, Luke! That's what I'm explaining to you!"

"Okay, I'm sorry!" I sighed and rubbed my face.

"This is the worst thing that's ever happened to me."

"Just because she has your nose, doesn't mean she's demented-"

"She's fourteen and she knows what everything is. She's annoying and I can't stand her." Jack rambled on and I sighed.

"Yeah... it's called sibling love."

"Love?! There is no love!"

"So you wouldn't cry if she died?"

"I just met her for Christ's sake! I mean, I'm a civilized person... so I might let a tear fall for the sake of all young teenagers."

"That's a pinch of love."

"This isn't a joke, Lucas."

"Don't turn into Lauren, Jackson." He rolled his eyes at me and I crossed my arms.

"He got her pregnant on my birthday."

"Are you kidding me?" I asked him and he shook his head, sighing. "Why would he tell you that?"

"Well my mom is a nervous wreck, okay? She was asking my sister's mom a billion questions and one happened to be: When did this even happen? and guess what, Luke? That woman had the nerve to tell my mom the exact date. And can you guess what the date was? Yeah, my sixth birthday."

"That sucks..." I told him and he sighed. "At least she wasn't born on your birthday, that would suck a whole lot more."

"Thanks, Luke." I sighed and he crossed his arms. There was a knock on the door and Jack groaned, burying himself into the blankets once again. I walked to the door and opened it, slowly. My eyes widened as I saw the person standing in front of me.
