Niall's POV

"What's up, mate?" Harry asked me, walking into the room. I looked down at my phone and sighed as I stared at Ali's contact.

"The usual." I told him. He sighed and sat down by me. He took my phone and threw it. It --thankfully-- landed on a pile of clothes. "What was-"

"Get over her. Now." he said and I was about to object, but he cut me off. "She's not worth your time, Niall. Just like Lauren isn't worth Louis' time. As long as you get over her, you won't have to become a complete ass like Louis is."

"Harry-"

"No, I'm done with you being mopey and so are our fans, okay? We would've been so much better off if we just hadn't met the two of them." He sighed and stood up. "Get over her." Harry walked out of the room and my jaw dropped.

"He gave me the same talk this morning." Louis said, walking into the room. "He just wants us to get our acts together."

"Well, at least I didn't tweet at Ali like an idiot." Louis glared at me and I crossed my arms. "Would you just delete that tweet?"

"No!"

"Why not? You're such an arse!"

"I was only being truthful with our fans, Niall. That's all." I rolled my eyes and stood up.

"I might be sad about losing Ali, but at least I'm keeping my distance. She's happy with Jack and I'm pretty sure Lauren is happy with someone other than you. Best friends seem to act out similarly." Louis' fist clenched and he kept his glare. He walked out of the room and I rolled my eyes. I walked to my phone and picked it up. I scrolled to Ali's contact and deleted it. "There... you're gone."

Ali's POV

"Hey, beautiful." A pair of arms wrapped around my waist from behind and I jumped, startled. "You okay? You seem really tense." Jack said, looking at me. I nodded at him and quickly thanked the person working at the cafe for my coffee. I started walking out and Jack joined me. "Everything okay?"

"Yeah, no, I'm fine."

"Ali..."

"Jack, everything is great."

"I'm taking it you forgot about meeting my family today?" My eyes widened and I looked at him.

"Oh my God! I completely forgot!" He sighed and so did I. "Are we going to-"

"I already went."

"What? Jack, it's only," I looked down at my phone and my eyes widened. "Five in the afternoon."

"I called you three times and texted you twice... where have you been all day? You weren't in classes and Lauren had no idea where you were."

"I... I went back to visit the house... I'm so sorry." He sighed and I looked down at my phone. "I don't remember getting any texts, though."

"So... you were just ignoring my calls?"

"No, Jack, I just had a lot on my mind, okay? I'm sorry."

"Yeah... well, maybe you were right, you're not good in a crisis." Jack sighed and walked off. I looked at him walk away and sighed. Ali, you're an idiot.

Niall's POV

"Still contemplating whether or not to call Ali?" Liam asked, walking into the room. I shook my head and scrolled through my Twitter. "Well, why not?"
