We heard a screech somewhere around 3 am.
Me and Ashley jumped out of our bed and immediatly ran into hayes room.
He was clutching his stomach.
"It hurts it hurts to stand" he screamed.
"Sh its okay" Brooke said running to his side.
He was kneeling on the floor.
"CALL 911" Ashley yelled.
I ran and grabbed her phone.
"911 whats your emergency" the operator said.
"Hi uh yeah my son is 14 uhh he has stomach cancer and um he just woke up screaming saying he cant stand because he has sharp pains in his stomach" I said panicky shaking.
Hayes wasn't crying, just stressed and hurt.
"Okay sir, where are you?"
"Marriott hotel in Orlando" I said.
"And your name?"
"Cameron" I said.
"We are sending help now"
The line went dead and I went to go help Ashley. She was crying more than hayes.
A little while later all the boys were awake and the ambulence arrived.
Hayes was still in pain but stopped screaming.
When we got to the hospital, they wouldn't let us in.
Ashley broke down in my arms.
"WHY?!"
"shh its okay baby girl" i said playing with her hair.
"but why us cam? why?"
"it always rains the hardest on the people who deserve the sun"
i said playing with her hair.
she looked at me. "What?" she asked
"bad things always happen to good people because God knows that the good people can handle it." i said
she smiled.
she looked happy again.
"ash do you remember what mom used to say to us?" shawn asked her.
she shook her head no.
"bad things dont happen to good people. good people are made from lessons learned from the bad things that happened".
i thought about it.
it seems right for ashley. ashley has been through sooo much but shes a great mom and girlfriend.
"that seems about right for ash smash fo fash" i said kissing her head.
she laughed.
"it works for you too cam." nash said.
"me?" i asked surprised. "ive done nothing good. i wish i was as good as a person as ash and shawn.. but im not and im okay with that cause i have ashley to shape me up"
"are you kidding me?!" ash asked pushing up from my chest.
"cam you are one of the sweetest guys i know. why do u think im with you? its not for your looks.. well a little cuz your a cutie but its cause your so sweet with nashs sister skylynn, hayes and my family and your a gentlemen and my family loves you. so yes, its a bonus your cute but your an amazing guy" she said.
i smiled so big.
i kissed her lips.
she immediatly kissed back, our lips locked. we did this for a good minute.
finally we broke apart. everyone with us "awwwwww" d.
the doctor finally came out.
"i need to see the two parents" he said.
"and two of you, of the parents choice, can visit at a time" he said.
me and ash looked at eachother and picked shawn and nash.
"come with me" he said "i have news"
