My alarm went off at six.
I groaned.
I sat up and was just about to stand up when Cam looked up.
"Come back and cuddle" he groaned.
"Babe i need to get the kids ready for school" i said kissing his hand.
I walked into shawns room.
"Shawnnnn" i said opening his door. He was snoring lightly. His mouth was open slightly and he was laying on his stomach with his blankets all over the bed.
"Shawn time to get up" i groaned shaking him lightly.
"I dont feel good ash" he whined rolling over, his voice raspy.
"Shawn no not today, you have missed so much bud please just try" i said.
He nodded rolling out of his bed rubbing his stomach.
I walked into Hayes room.
"Time to get up love" i said and kissed his forehead.
He nodded groggily and got up.
Taylor wasnt anywhere to be found.
I walked back into me and cams room.
I threw on some capri yoga pants, a sweatshirt, i put my hair into a bun and put in a lulu lemon head band.
I gave the boys money for lunch as they came down the stairs.
Shawn was pale and didn't look good.
"Shawn you dont look too goo-" i started.
"Im gunna try" he said weakly smiling.
I smiled back.
I ran out to the Cadillac. I jumped in the drivers seat, shawn was in the passanger, and hayes was in the back.
We finally pulled around into the school parking lot.
"Bye boys!!" i said.
"bye" they said getting out of the car.
Hayes went to all his friends and started fist bumping them all while shawn did the same with his friends.
I smiled pulling out of the parking lot.
When i got home, Cameron was on the couch with Natalya cuddling and watching Dora.
"Dora the explorer!!" he sang along enthusiastically and smiling at natalya.
"Im home" i said smiling walking over to them.
"Hey babe" cam said.
I took Natalya and kissed her nose.
"Cam i need to talk to you" i said.
he nodded.
"Yeah sure about what" he said.
"Remember the text I got yesterday while you were in bed?" i asked.
He nodded
"Well that was your phone" i said.
He raised an eyebrow.
"It was your father" i said.
He stared straight.
"Cam?" i asked after a few seconds of silence.
He stormed out of the room.
I decided to leave him for now to cool down.
I left him alone and watched tv with Natalya until i heard a huge crash and
"FUCK"
I put natalya on her play mat and ran up the stairs into our bed room.
Camerons eyes were wide with fury and there was a hole in the wall.
"FUCK HIM. FUCK ME. FUCK" he said throwing his phone down.
"Cameron" i said walking over.
"FUCK. THIS. SHIT" He yelled throwing the lamp onto the ground as it shattered.
"Cameron!" i yelled.
i wrapped my small arms around his tall frame.
He sighed.
He hugged me back.
"I dont get it" he said nuzzling his face into the crook of my neck.
"I dont either babe" i said.
My phone started ringing with a number i didnt recognize.
"Hello?" i asked picking up the phone.
"Hello Ashley? This is Mary from LA high school, Shawn is sick and we need you to come get him" she said into the phone.
I sighed.
'What?' cam mouthed to me.
I gave him a one minute symbol.
"Okay sure ill be there in 10" i said hanging up.
"Shawns sick" I said.
Cameron sighed too.
"Lets go" i said.
We walked out to the car, Cameron driving and me in the passenger seat holding my hand across the middle.
"I want to see him" Cameron said.
"Who?" i asked.
"My dad" he said.
I stayed silent.
"Anndd..?" he asked.
"Cam i dont think thats a good idea" i said.
"My sister told you to tell me that right" he asked and i nodded guilty.
He sighed.
"You dont have to come" he said looking at me fast to keep his eyes on the road.
"Cam, your not going" i said.
"Yes i am actually" he said pulling into the parking lot.
"We will talk about this later" i said getting out of the car. He did too and we held hands walking into the school.
"Ashley? We just need you to sign him out" the lady said.
I signed mine and his name.
He came down the hall pale and tired.
I hugged him rubbing his back.
"Im sorry i made you come in today bud" i said.
"Its not your fault" he said smiling.
We got back in the car.
"So what happened?" Cam asked looking in the rearview mirror.
" i was in class and i asked to be excused to the bathroom because my stomach felt weird and when i got there i threw up so i went to the nurse" he said closing his eyes.
We nodded.
We pulled into our driveway and he immediately went up to bed.
Cameron pulled out his phone.
He was texting someone but when i went to see who it was, he locked his phone.
I rolled my eyes, not knowing if it was planned or a coincidence.
I blew it off and cuddled up next to him.
"Im going out with the boys tonight, to get my mind off things" he said and i nodded.
"Okay babe have fun" i said kisisng his cheek and going up the stairs.
