Epilogue

And Nikki Shay did fall in love with Ben Foster.

The two were nearly inseparable, even when they were in a fight, they were right next to each other. They were even dubbed - by Sam 1 - as "the couple who were incest based Siamese twins in another life."

When the two wanted something to happen, it happened. Like when Hardridge High took away vending machines, there was a five week boycott. It gained so much attention that nearly every student participated in a walkout and there was media coverage. They were a power couple.

As graduation and prom rolled by, they were voted prom queen and King and "most likely to be high school sweethearts." They even went to the same college.

Then everything came crashing down after their freshman year in college.

During that summer, Ben proposed. All he wanted for his birthday was for Nikki to say yes. He got his birthday wish, but he never got to see the wedding day.

That night on his drive home, rain was falling. The deer leapt out and stood there in his driving lane. Ben swerved, but only to drive off of the road and hit a tree. Dead on impact.

Nikki was never the same. She couldn't handle his death and admitted herself to a mental facility for a month. His death took away her happiness, her sassiness, and even her sarcasm. She simply became quiet and mean.

It took six years for Nikki Shay to even think about being with another guy.

Then Gene and Brianna had the premier of their show on HBO. They forced Nikki to come. Guess who happened to be the star of the show? Brett Sterling. Brett and Nikki didn't continue their friendship after Brett moved to Canada. Yet, at that premier, that friendship was quickly rekindled. Brett was able to stand the new Nikki, unlike the majority of the people that shed known and met.

What happened next? They stayed friends for four more years. During that time, Brett set Nikki up on many dates. Eventually, Nikki was able to get into a relationship with the one and only Brett. After four more years, they were married. Nikki was never able to give up Ben, but that never affected her and Brett's marriage. They had three kids, Hayden Lee, Brian and Georgia. Brett continued to go up the ladder of fame, but stayed true to himself. Nikki was a public defender, but one that actually tried to keep her cleaners out of jail. Together the Brett Sterling and Nikki Shay opened up a boxing club. Nikki continued the hobby that she gave up on when she was a teen and taught others about boxing.

There's nothing else that you need to know about Nikki Shay, unless you didn't realize that she and Brett lived happily ever after.
